National Park Schiermonnikoog offers a backdrop for Hotel Graaf Bernstorff which features a library, free bus service. The island’s pier is 3.7 km away. Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean and we had a lovely view out to the park on the side of the hotel. There was no noise during the night and we slept well. The location is excellent in the middle of the village with easy access to shops and restaurants.

Duinzicht is situated on the tranquil island of Schiermonnikoog and is just over 15 minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and includes a sauna and solarium. We loved the central location of the hotel - walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel - loved seeing the lighthouse back there. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, The bathroom is also spacious and I enjoyed the bathtub. The staff was very friendly and helpful, great breakfast included and we enjoyed a dinner in the excellent restaurant. Highly reccommeded!!
