Situé dans le quartier de Skjæringa, à Longyearbyen, le Mary-Ann's Polarrigg a été construit à partir de vieux gréements. Très bon séjour de 3 nuits du côté dortoir. Les chambres bien que petite sont confortables. La literie et les rideaux occultants (soleil de minuit 😜) étaient parfaits. Les sanitaires communs sont nombreux et propres. Le salon commun est vraiment cosy. Il y règne une ambiance calme propice à la détente. Nous y avons passés plusieurs bons moments.

I have been to Longyearbyen before, but stayed in a hotel. This time I was traveling with my mom, and wanted some place a little bigger. This apartment popped up and it turned out to be the best place we stayed during our entire arctic trip! The host was incredibly communicative, and helped us out with a few hiccups that happened during our stay. The apartment is incredibly spacious and clean, and the beds are amazingly comfortable! It was so cozy, and there was a helpful little pamphlet explaining everything that you may need to know about the space. It's easy to get to the center of town, about a 3-5 min walk to the coop, Stationen, etc. Again, the host was AMAZING, and I cannot recommend this place enough! We even got lucky enough to see the northern lights off the balcony on a few nights during our stay! Love, love, LOVED this place and this host!

Very friendly staff and very professional, clean rooms very confortable beds. Amazing Soviet Union decoration and food.

We recommend a longer stay in Barentsburg to taste some of its vibe of humble, genuine, peaceful, friendly creativity in an amazing setting. We stayed one week, could easily have stayed longer. We will be back! Thank you!

Very conveniently located on the main street of Longyearbyen. Also, the airport bus as well as tour guides stop right in front. We loved to take our shoes off and walk just on socks or in slippers throughout ought the whole hotel. It gave us a homey feeling. In addition, our room was really cozy. We had a great view, it was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and we had most of the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the bathtub after a long day outdoors. What was also practical is that you needed a code to enter your room instead of a key card which could possibly get lost in this fragile environment of Svalbard. The lobby area is welcoming as one could sit next to the fireplace and enjoy a cup of coffee/tea. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially the hostess at breakfast during our stay welcomed us heartily and was attentive and rounded our feeling to be at home. Thank you so much! The breakfast itself had everything we needed for a great start to the day. Overall, we highly recommend Polfareren and would love to come back again.
