Cabins are heated with electric heat and there is also a wood stove if you’d like to have a fire. The location is fantastic – tucked away on a hillside overlooking the historic Stalheim Hotel and the surrounding mountains and an easy 15 minutes drive to Flam. Flam can be busy with tour buses and cruise ships; Stalheim feels like a world away from that. Marit was a great host. She greeted us when we arrived and gave us lots of great information about the area and suggested things to see and do. This place is really something special!

Charming location, comfortable rooms, awesome views from the balcony and more extras than could ever be required. The barbecue and fire pit on the balcony with a view, the sauna, hot tub, comfy couches, incredible fireplace.... if only we could just stay here longer! We will definitely be back in summer! However, best of all was the host- lightning speed communication, friendliness and going way above and beyond. Jarand helped us by dropping extra bedsheets and collecting our suitcase delivery from the road below and storing it in our absence. A gem of a place and person! A must in Voss!

Sigurd's Tiny House was exactly what we were looking for: A small cozy home for our winter stay in Voss. The location is great - close to the city center, but in a calm neighbourhood. We were travelling with our dog and it's easy to take beautiful walks in the woods and at the waterfront nearby. Sigurd was very welcoming upon our arrival and had some helpful tips for winter activities in the area.
