For breakfast, there was something to suit everyone’s taste. Plenty of areas around to sit and relax and the hotel offered luggage storage at no extra cost.

This is a great campsite with well-thought-out facilities. You can stay in a cabin, bring your camper, or pitch a tent — and all with the most picturesque surroundings! We stayed in a cabin right next to the shower building, which made access to water and toilets super convenient.
Showers can be used with 10 NOK coins or a credit card — 4 minutes is more than enough, with hot water and great pressure. There’s also a washing machine and dryer available for a small fee.
The cabin is equipped with a stove, electric kettle, fridge, broom, mop, and bucket — everything you need to keep things clean and cozy. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, and there are 8 electrical sockets for all your needs.
At night, it’s easy to fall asleep to the meditative sound of the nearby waterfall — pure nature therapy.
Just make sure to bring your own bed linen, kitchen utensils, shampoo, and towels.
Thank you to the professional and welcoming host for a lovely stay! While based at Tvinde Camping, we explored Voss, Vossevangen, Flåm, Gudvangen, took a scenic cruise, went up to Stegastein, and drove over the mountains above the Lærdal Tunnel. Now we’re continuing northward on our journey.

We were booked into the motel but when we checked in which is via the hotel receprion we were told that we had been upgraded to the hotel as they had overbooked the motel.
WOW, WOW, WOW what a beautiful hotel, very grand and the furnishings are unbelievable.
So much history, if you do stay in the motel make sure you visit the hotel and look at all the rooms on the ground floor.
We were so happy had a front room overlooking the lake.

The accommodation is situated in beautiful surroundings, with large green areas around, and it has a beautiful view. We liked our room, it was very clean and comfortable. It's also convenient that you can use the communal kitchen.The communication with the owner, Eystein, was great, he was super responsive and answered all our questions quickly. In the end, our stay was even better than we had expected. Totally recommended!

Long drive from Oslo, very close to Voss, but for those seeking total nature and unplugging from civilization, THIS is the place in Norway. Underrated, excellent value, extremely responsive, fun, kind staff with interesting conversations to be had. The breakfast was proper and Norwegian (fresh, delicious, healthy food), amazing coffee, and they mix it up with dinners from various cultures like chili con carne.

Located in Granvin which is a perfectly located place to stay and visit the fjords and other attractions in the region.
The staff was amazing from the beginning till the end of our journey. Don’t expect a modern facility or an elevator in this place, but cosiness is guaranteed 😁. On top we had dinner at the hotel and enjoyed it together with other travelers. To sum up, fully recommended!

Voss is very easy to reach by train or bus, and it's very well connected. There's a cable car to whisk you up the mountain, and from there there are walking paths over the fells, and to ski lifts. There's also plenty of nice places to walk in the town and buses to take you to more remote places to walk. The town has some nice places to eat and drink, but it isn't overly touristy. It's an excellent base for visiting Sognefjord and Flåm -- I did a nice circuit on train, ferry and bus and packed a huge amount of gorgeous landscapes into a day.

We had planned a 5 day trip by staying in Myrkdalen and exploring Flåm and around. We did drive everyday which was a bit hectic. One or two extra days with relaxing and hiking locally would have been better.

It was a charming and cozy hotel with good breakfasts and a scenic lake nearby. A true salvation for us on our way to Flåm and beyond. It’s a great pit stop between some of the most popular destinations like Flåm and others — and I think this hotel is just right. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay rather than luxury.

Perfect, lovey staff, beautiful views, calm and peaceful, you can feel extremely close to nature. The drive there isn't a lot of kilometres but due to the road you must drive slow which is an advantage beacuse the views are absolutely breathtaking. The only thing me and my partner regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

The view is the only amenity. Dinner was awful but you have no other options as hotel is very secluded. We were told before the trip that there were great hiking trails from the hotel but when we asked the front desk, there was only one road to walk down to see some waterfalls in the distance. So no actual hiking trails.

Nice place, good breakfast, employees spoke English fairly well and were nice. Very good location on the lake. Recommend requesting a room away from the elevator as it’s extremely loud and will keep you awake if you don’t have ear plugs.

We booked a triple room and it was allocated in another building; which little away from main building with reception. Seemed like it was a make-shift arrangement to accommodate the booking. Building was in pathetic condition and sounded like no one had stayed there in last few months (may be a year).
* No WiFi at all - we repeatedly requested but we got only false commitment that someone will come and fix it. But nothing happened
* No TV (they had TV but not way to plug the power). How someone can fix the TV at the spot where you can not get the power?
* Surprisingly room was very cold, I don't know may be due to leakage or may be its due to located in the basement or something else (although it was July).
* Very basic breakfast options with very limited options and we had to ask the staff for every single thing such as milk, bread etc.
* Staff seemed confusing, with no idea what to help with or no motivation to help perhaps.
Overall the stay was like a punishment.. One could get better options for the rate we paid. This hotel lacks even a very basic amenities.

Voss is clearly the sporting capital of Norway whether it is Summer or Winter. Everything is in easy reach.
Hotel was adjacent to the Gondola, Railway Station, Tourist information centre & close to lake & town. Our stay was in a traditional room with view of the lake. Perfect blend of traditional and modern. It had the singularly most advanced en-suite facilities I have ever used. Japanese technology & German manufacturing. Wonderful balcony for a couple to relax in. Room size was to USA standard with seating for 5, writing bureau, 55 inch TV, etc.
Swimming Pool with personal lockers. Didn’t use the restaurant but bar meals were good with range of local beers. A number of individual reception rooms for quiet times, reading or family discussion. Staff are efficient & welcoming.
