The location couldn’t have been better. A few minutes walk from the station and the gondola and a short stroll into the town. Lovely views of the lake outside the bedroom window. For breakfast, there was something to suit everyone’s taste. Plenty of areas around to sit and relax and the hotel offered luggage storage at no extra cost.

Very helpful and informative staff. The check-in was very smooth. Even the live band that was being played was an icing on the cake . Also if the guest wanted to know the history of this property the manner in which the hotel staff explains as well as give a tour walk of the property is truly heart warming.

Overlooking the Nærøy Valley, this family-run hotel offers 2 in-house resraurants and a panorama lounge. Gudvangen village and the Nærøy Fjord are 15 minutes’ drive away. WiFi is free in public areas....

The view was just breathtaking. Probably the best one in the whole Norway trip. I think we made 400 pictures just of the view. Just when we came, there was a rainbow and it made everything even more surreal. The breakfast was very good and the room was very spacious. Our room was towards the mountains and the waterfalls so we were just absolutely amazed.

This was our 30th night staying in a Booking.com hotel in Norway and we all agreed this hotel was the one that had the most positive surprises. It was much more modern and upscale than the description suggested. Nice commo areas including covered area out of rain. Loved the convience store on-site, the bar with draft beer and wines, and we had a very delicious meal there ( two people had pizza and two had meat stew with potatoes etc.). Very very nice lady who runs it and she accomidated an early departure with a breakfast she left out for us. Great views of the mountains from the rooms.

The most beautiful location on the lake with the kindest Hosts!! Peace, nature, comfort, sustainability, barbecue and fireplace! Daniel and Henriette and the family made out trip special, we will definitely be back again and we totally recommend it!
