A hidden treasure with the most beautiful setting of well maintained picturesque gardens. Our cottage was so adorable, spacious & well equipped with outdoor area - all we needed & more!! Added bonus for this accommodation was the kindest and generous owner & host, Brad. We attended a wedding and he offered to take us there and when we were a bit stuck for a ride back he offered to pick us up! I had been recovering from post op surgery and was hesitant to use bridal transport arrangements but Brads generous manner both on the phone in person was so kind! Thank you. 🙏We hope to return with our kids and family to make full use of all the facilities! Highly recommend this amazing accommodation and gracious welcoming host! I can see why it is popular for family and friends gatherings!! ✨✨✨✨✨

The Grays prevede un alloggio con giardino, sala comune e terrazza a Whangarei e dispone di WiFi gratuito e vista sul giardino. I felt like I was staying with family friends. They were so friendly, I had some incredible chats with everyone, and of course the dogs were sweethearts - well trained, didn't jump up at me but did want pats if possible. I don't really write reviews normally but honestly this stay was a highlight of my trip. They did also mention that some people who come to stay aren't that sociable and that they are more than happy with that - very much each to their own so even if you aren't sociable, this will be a relaxing stay. Views were wonderful from the deck, spa was delightful, but honestly, the people were fantastic. Definitely think I'll stay here any time I'm in Whangarei going forward.

Steve the host was great, very friendly, brought his highland cows down in the morning for me to meet. His dog Aggi was also very sweet, hung out with me for a while on the porch. Highly recommend this retreat.

The property was easy to find, clean, comfortable, and would highly recommend to anyone. Bruce was super accommodating, and lovely to chat to as we were checking out.

The grounds were really peaceful and it was only a 10 minute drive to town. So much nicer than staying in town with a lot of noise and people around. The hosts were kind, warm and generous but also gave us our own space and privacy. I'd never stayed in a B&B style accomodation before so this was a new experience and I'd do it again. If I have the opportunity to come back to the Northlands of NZ I'd definitely stay again.
