Located in the heart of the city of Wellington,The Marion Hostel offers a range of backpacker accommodation and features a rooftop terrace. I traveled from Queenstown Dunedin Christchurch and then Wellington.The Marion Hostel is the best hostel I’ve stayed. I have been working as a receptionist in YHA for two years.But some parts in this hostel even doing better than YHA.The fridge is really organised.Have event for the visitor and provide information also.

Rebuilt in 2014, Quest on Thorndon offers art deco-style apartments with free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests receive free access to the CityFitness gym located next to the property. The owner, Simon! He helped me to solve issues on key immediately on a very new year day without showing anything on his face and made my stay very peaceful and relaxing. Very respectful, professional and warm. He shared many useful information as well. I very much liked everything on the room, facilities especially washing machine, cleanliness, quietness, blights, spaciousness, location! Very close to bus, train and ferry stations. I will come back soon.

This place is wonderful and they could charge double. Truly fantastic. Hosts are great too and chatty and huge fun. LOVED IT.

Our host, Peter, was incredibly kind, generous, and knowledgeable about the best things to see and do in New Zealand. We arrived before the official check-in time, and he kindly let us park our car and leave some of our belongings in the room while he was still finishing the cleaning, which allowed us to take the train into Wellington City Centre without any hassle. We only stayed for one night, but it was truly the perfect stopover!

Good location for our needs, neat and tidy, comfortable beds and great hosts! Hosts supplied dog beds and dog treats, which I thought was such a lovely touch.
