The place was very clean, warm, and comfortable. The facilities were amazing, including a very well-equipped kitchen. You could take a hot shower, and there was plenty of space for your towels and clothes. The people there were also very friendly. Another great feature was the on-site laundry service, which was very convenient.

It is one of the closest accommodation options from the Interisland Ferry Terminal, just 2 km away. I like that they provide very decent shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Towels are plenty and there is a heat towel rack, a total luxury during cold, windy Wellington days. Their housekeeping standard is obviously very high, they make the bed even help washes the mugs and glasses.

A continental breakfast is available at the homestay. Caryn’s home is lovely with a huge kitchen and living room to enjoy, but the highlight of our stay was Caryn herself. A native of Paraparaumu, she knows everything about the area. We found her so engaging, we invited her to spend the evening with us. Highly recommend.
