Fabulous! And at the sunset an extraordinary mix of coulors! -We liked very much to bath and swim in the heated pool, with the view onto the mountains. - The room by itself (room with canyon view) was very good, with a table and 2 chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view. - The staff was very nice and helpful : reception, swimming pool, dinner/ breakfast.

Location was great . Just opened property, hence everything is brand new . The owner is a gem of a person. Staff was courteous. They go out of the way to help . We had an issue with the car tyres and they arranged for air pumps. Can’t help praise the Oman people . Every one was so helpful, you just need to stop , they will enquire if you need help on directions. They will go out of the way to help .

The location is very good to spend relaxing time. Very calm and quite place. The two caretakers were very good and did their job. Beautiful surrounding to enjoy the stay. Swimming pool is an added advantage to enjoy the stay. 4x4 is recommended reaching the location, but sedan can reach the location with careful slow driving.

Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, the highest five star resort in the middle east on the curving rim of a great canyon, is a secluded haven for the intrepid and discerning. This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff are also incredible. Very peaceful, the breakfast is excellent. I stayed 2 nights and would have loved to stay longer. In a category of it’s own- definitely a very special place.

Perched 2000 metres above sea level, Alila Jabal Akhdar is an ultra-luxurious resort with views of the Al Hajar Mountains. Everything is perfect. The room the swimming pool and all the facilities. Staff really nice. Worthy for the experience.
