Guiltor and his lovely sister who have opened their family home to guests are the most delightful people I have met so far. The Hospedaje is only 8 minutes walk from the centre . There is a a really nice courtyard and the views over the town towards the hills are spectacular. But it’s their hospitality that shines… superb breakfasts.. plenty and something local and different every morning.. it really fills you up..and if you don’t finish your place they have something to say about it..in the nicest hospitable way! Stay here it’s wonderful!

I staid two weeks instead of two nights, like I had first planned. Nancy, the hostess, is amazing and super generous. She invited me to try her homemade drinks and to her friend's birthday party at the hostel. She is also very knowledgeable about touristic things in the area and helped me find information about specific locations several times. The hostel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the central square. There are a few small shops just next to the hostel if you need and the street is very quiet at night. The room and bed is comfy, there are shared spaces and a small shared kitchen (in the back of the garden). There is a big courtyard and small garden, perfect for travellers with dogs (like me). The shared bathroom and toilet was always clean and the water in the shower was hot. The different breakfasts (for an extra fee) were delicious! Thanks/gracias/merci for a wonderful stay :)

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Gocta Andes Lodge is located in Chachapoyas. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning at this lodge, just 6 km from the Gocta waterfalls. Great view of waterfall. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful

Stunning location with the best view on the Waterfall Gocta. Mario was a loveley host. He even offered us a stunning hike to the upper part of the waterfall. Everything in the Hotel is made with love, from the cosy room to the breakfast. We are sad that its time to leave now. I would recommend the place to everyone!
