Clean, simple and cosy hostel with some good food options that serves as the perfect starting point for hikes in the canyon. Leandro helped us a lot with both the hike and all transport arrangements around it, sitting with us and other people after dinner to make sure we were well prepared.

Amazing huge rooms, super comfortable beds, well above its 3 star rating! The hotel is in a perfect location and the host is incredible warm welcoming and gave us a hug and a lovely llama keyring on our departure! Also did a great early breakfast for us before Colca Canyon! Our Spanish was limited but this did not stop the host giving us the most warm experience and trying her absolute best to communicate with us. Don’t need to stay anywhere else in Chivay.

Very nice hotel and the staff is fantastic. They went iut of their way to help me with a few things. I was able to checkin at 5am when my bus arrived without any extra payment. I have to call out Gauddy who was super nice and helpful with anything I needed. She made my stay extra special!!!

My husband, sister and I stayed for 2 days at Casa El Errante. They were welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious with a high ceiling and gorgeous white stone walls. The beds were super comfortable and cosy with nice blankets and linen. The room was really quiet at night. We all slept really well. The room was very clean, the shower was hot with excellent pressure. The wifi had good signal and speed. The accommodation was in walking distance of everything and had many restaurants and cafes close by. We couldn’t fault this accommodation, everything was absolutely perfect. The best room we’ve had so far in Peru. Highly recommend.
