It’s located a short walk from the plaza de armas and right on the corner for the buses to Chan Chan ruins and the beach. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome.

A warm welcome from the owners. Comfortable accommodation (I booked a private room with bathroom), a block to the beach, racks to keep your surfboard, a very functional kitchen. I'm an older solo traveler and really feel at home here, so much so that I've extended my stay twice now. And it's not a party place if that's your thing.

The bus stops are just walking distance and there are so many shops around. Really convenient! Plus the host and his family are very friendly and helpful!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the sea, ATMA Hostel & Yoga is located in Huanchaco in the La Libertad Region, 11 km from Trujillo. The level of maintenance and cleanliness with a good vibe.

The neighborhood was nice and centrally-located. The neighborhood was quiet in spite of its proximity to the beach, as well as, the nightclub and restaurant district. Lots of surf shops and late-night eateries. Very short, inexpensive, and easy bus ride to Trujillo on public transportation.

The facilities and equipment were very good. Laundry, ironing, gas cooking and microwave facilities were just what was needed. Local markets were close. KFC and pizzeria were next door. Small details had been thought of (soap for the laundry, tpwels, tea)
