The room was comfortable, clean and the A/c worked well. The house had a lovely courtyard with a pool to cool off in. You can also use the kitchen which has a good range of modern appliances. The artwork around the house was varied and interesting. It is also only a five minute walk from the airport which was handy for our flight to Lima. Although it would seem inconvenient for the city, we felt that it was better to pay a few Soles for the mototaxi to get into town and also have the entertainment of the ride through the traffic. It was worth the 20 minute ride to get to this haven of tranquility.

Lorena, the host, was amazing and made us feel at home every day while we were there. Breakfast was tasty and they were preparing it earlier than usual as we had early morning tours. We felt very connected with the nature and spent amazing days.

The owners are very kind and helpful, assisting with travel planning and bookings. My room had a large window with a beautiful view over a river arm, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere is relaxed. A great choice for a simple, well-run hostel!

Casa de Perú Iquitos- Hotel & Restaurant ligger i Iquitos och erbjuder 3-stjärnigt boende med en gemensam lounge, en restaurang och en bar. Couldn't recommend highly enough! Clean, cheap, friendly, bilingual ownership. They found a cake for my birthday and cooked cayman meat we found in the market. Made great Pisco Sours. Cleaned our clothes (which we desperately needed). Give them a try!

We had a nice stay here for x4 nights before our tour of the Amazon. It was nice to be somewhere peaceful so that we could properly relax & rest before our adventure.
