Providing river views, Sunrise of Tambopata in Puerto Maldonado provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Emanuel and his family ( including their parrot Antonia) were wonderful and helpful, the bungalows are clean, the setting by the river is great with many sound effects from various birds and other animals and chicken in the morning. Emanuel's cooking was very tasty. Very enjoyable stay.

Enai is located in the forest, on the shore of the Madre de Dios River, 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Enai has a restaurant, outdoor pool, bar and garden. Great location, excellent staff who are ready to assist as needed. They organised many tours that one can take to enjoy the nature/wildlife around. Food is delicious! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the tours I took via Enai.

With garden views, Hacienda Herrera Tambopata is located in Puerto Maldonado and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and terrace. Free WiFi is provided. Staying at the Hacienda Herrera Tambopata was the shining star of our visit to Peru. Everything about it was a delight. The staff, food, surrounding landscape, tour offerings, the room...we loved every minute of our stay.

Featuring a vegetarian restaurant, Kapievi Ecovillage offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. The property is a 15-minute car ride from the city's main square. Very comfortable stay. Anthony has created a beautiful oasis and the pool/ yoga hut was a fantastic way to help with the heat. Spacious room with air con. Very filling breakfast, friendly staff and hot water available. About a 5-10 min ride away from town centre which is enough to get away from the noise but close enough to duck out for a meal. Wish we had a few more nights!

Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and accessed by the Madre de Dios riverboat from Puerto Maldonado port, Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is located in Puerto Maldonado. The staff was incredible. Very Friendly and attentive. The hotel was very clean considering that you are in the middle of a jungle. All the excursions were very well organzied with knowledgeable staff.

Refugio Chabelita Hostel is situated in Puerto Maldonado. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The staff were very nice and very helpful. On the day of arrival in the afternoon they took us on a short tour of surroundings where they showed us local plants and the river. We event got to taste the raw cacao beans. They helped us call and order taxi because we don’t speak Spanish and Uber doesn’t work here. They have a small shop with fruits, bread, sweets and salts. Breakfast was excellent. We got avocado every day. With some rice, eggs or tamales. We also got bread and coffee or tea.

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, Posada Casa Bonita offers accommodation with a private pool, a balcony and garden views. Great place to chill for a few days. All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

Hotel Inambari Golden is located in Chiforongo. Featuring a garden, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, CHOMI HOUSE TAMBOPATA offers a bar. This holiday home has a garden and free private parking. A wonderful place near the river.Elmer was a geat host who arranged our tours and dinner. We loved living with this cool peruvian family who took care of everything seamlessly.

Situated in Puerto Maldonado in the Madre de Dios region, Quirquincho House Lodge has a balcony. The property has two individual bungalows that are very spacious, with high ceilings, good bathroom and fly screens all around the windows. Nicolas is absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly and very respectful. He can organise daily tours, they were excellent. The tours were with small groups (less than 8 pax). Nicolas cooked very tasty meals. The property is located away from town, which means you have lovely nature around you, but Nicolas was very helpful in driving us to places we needed. The bungalows had a balcony, wifi and hot showers. The two dogs that live there are truly beautiful, we miss their cuddles already. Nicolas helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. There are squirrel monkeys nearby. The property is located near other resorts if you need a pool or river access. We enjoyed this property for its local community and wildlife, its excellent value for a small business. My only recommendation would be to have a tea/coffee making facilities available all day, and a large shower mat to catch excess water.
