We arrived in the evening and were greeted by very polite and helpful staff, which made us feel welcome right away. The apartments are located on a lovely street in the old town, right in the center, yet surprisingly quiet. The place was comfortable, wellequipped, and had everything we needed for our stay. Located by the Czarna Hańcza river, Hotel Akvilon is housed in a renovated 19th century tenement house. Great location near river, park and city. Excellent breakfast. Fun city with live blues and jazz music.

Pokoje Gościnne Centrum Kultury Prawosławnej offers rooms in the centre of Białystok, 200 metres from the Town Square. Free Wi-Fi is available in common areas and most rooms. It was clean and quiet. A tiny bit of street noise, but I’m sensitive to that. It’s part of a cultural center so there’s kind of a nice vibe to it, kind of sparse and that’s good. Not a romantic place per se.
