He provided us with a tour of the property upon arrival and then provided itineraries for each day based on what we wanted to see on the island via our rental car. He was available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any questions including providing a self walking tour of the Christmas lights. The rooftop bar/pool area was very nice with views of the city. Having access to free laundry on the fifth floor was very convenient. The fresh pastries on the doorknob in the morning ❤️

Breakfast very good, everything fresh (slices of cheese, 3 kind of slices meat, butter, jams, honey, joghurts, cereal, milk, cooked eggs, tomatoes, mozzarella, salad, fruits, juices, teas, coffee machine with all type of coffees, hot chocolate, 2 types of bread, 4 types of breadrolls). A lady at the mornings cares about breakfast - very clean, quick and nice. Lidia at reception also extremely nice, was making phone calls about my reserved trips etc. I got a towel for our trip just in case of swimming in volcanic pool, we could leave our luggage till collection of airport taxi. All staff was very nice. They cared about us. At the arrival bottle of wine and a cake! :-) Nice surprise. We highly reccommend this place. Location brilliant!!!

The owners are the kindest and make you feel like family, very resolutive and helpful with everything. The sea views form our terrace were amazing. Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. Delicious breakfast, exceptional dinner and an infinite pool. For breakfast, you could choose from 5-6 warm meals (eggs, French toast, asparagus..) and a cold buffet (from cereals, croissants and local cheese to pastel de nata). The portions from the menu were smaller but in combination with the cold buffet, the breakfast was just awesome! We stayed in the with the "garden view ", however we could still see and hear the sea. The view was stunning.
