Good location, nice spacious rooms and delicious breakfast. This is one of the 3 hotels under one brand, which gives you accesses to plenty other facilities and nice services. I loved spending time here, enjoying coffee while overlooking the natural pools with waves crashing the stones - perfect morning routine! The staff is helpful and very friendly, always ready to help you.

The property itself is located in an unreal scenery spot! We picked this property last year, and this year we chose it again and they provided the exact same room! It's so clean in there that it feels like it was just built. Highly recommend!

TURIM Santa Maria Hotel ligger i Funchal, 9 minuters promenad från Almirante Reis strand, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. This hotel was a perfect base for a wonderful holiday. Each morning, the hiking bus picked me up right outside the hotel, and I’d return in the afternoon to relax by the pool and enjoy the comfort of my room. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is ideally located within walking distance of downtown Funchal, making it easy to explore and find great dinner options.

São Francisco Accommodation ligger 5 minuters promenad från hamnen i Funchal och erbjuder gratis WiFi och moderna rum. Boendet är inrymt i en renoverad byggnad med 6 våningar och hiss. Boendet var centralt, bekväm säng, ett rymligt rum. Ingen utsikt från fönster fanns tillgänglig. Dock så fanns det en fin trädgård precis utanför boendet som man kunde koppla av på. det är ett bra boende för den/de personer som vet med sig att dem kommer tillbringa sin tid ute med aktiviteter och inte i boendet. Frukosten var också mycket bra. Trevlig och bra service hos personalen. Skulle lätt kunna boka det boendet igen.

Det 4-stjärniga Aqua Natura Madeira erbjuder eleganta rum med utsikt över Atlanten i fiskebyn Porto Moniz, 45 km norr om Funchals centrum. Här finns även en bastu. We had a wonderful stay at Aqua Natura Madeira. The room was fantastic and the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to it was a highlight of our trip. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist and make our stay comfortable. The spa facilities added an extra magical touch to the experience. There’s nothing better than soaking in the jacuzzi after a day of conquering levadas — such a perfect reward. At night, we were treated to beautiful views of the night sky and stars, which made the experience even more special and memorable. Breakfast was also excellent, with great quality and variety. We are really happy we chose this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Just a small note for future guests: if you plan to use the natural pools located just beneath the hotel, keep an eye on the weather. In case of severe conditions, they may be closed. This has nothing to do with the hotel, as the pools are a public facility — just something to be aware of to avoid disappointment. Highly recommended!

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Beautiful situated place with a fantastic view of the ocean . Very nice and attentive host. She really cares about her guests. The breakfast was marvellous and she even cooked delicious dinners for us. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had a kitchenette and a balcony with sea view.

Charming hotel with its own peculiar vibe. It was very calm and quiet, even though there was a party at the property one of the evenings. Breakfast was very nice and offered many options. The staff is what makes this such a precious experience - even more so than the views (and they are already fantastic).

Detta designhotell är en renoverad traditionell bondgård uppe på en klippa med utsikt över Atlanten på Madeiras sydkust. Ponta do Sol har en fantastisk infinitypool och badtunna med panoramautsikt. Helt fantastiskt ställe. Utsikten, poolerna, frukosten allt var så bra.
