I only met Henri when I collected the keys, and had to leave super early the morning after, so we didn't have much chance to connect more, but he was very welcoming. They have a dog but he was okay (I am scared of dogs) and stayed away after greeting me, so it was fine. And I'll say it again: THE VIEW IS AMAZING! Be there at least an hour before sunset to make the most of it. Thank you both and I wish you well :)

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Manaaki, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had while traveling. First and foremost, the hosts, Catherine and Pascal, are simply incredible. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel comfortable and at home. Their warmth and humor turned our trip into a memorable adventure. They provided fantastic tips for our itinerary, helping us plan our days effectively. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring a variety of superb dishes that showcased their culinary skills. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience on the island. The property itself is phenomenal. Pascal and Catherine have done a remarkable job creating a beautiful and tranquil space. The walk from the car park to the rooms is enchanting; you pass through a delightful array of fruit and herb trees, and past a lovely swimming pool, all leading to the main building where breakfast is served and one of the guest rooms is located. The attention to detail in the interior design reflects their passion for this place and their joy in hosting guests. Overall, Villa Manaaki is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. If you’re debating whether to book a stay here, I wholeheartedly recommend you just go for it. You won’t regret it!

The house has a very welcoming atmosphere and Alice and Thanos are very gracious hosts - always there with a kind smile and willing to help, but never interrupting your peaceful and quiet vacation. The food was exceptional - probably the best breakfast I have ever had. Having your breakfast in the back garden while looking at the ocean was an incredible experience. The house is located directly on the beach and simply cannot be closer to the ocean. I am now measuring and comparing all hotel stays to the experience we had here, and I can tell you everyone is going to have a hard time beating Philoxenia. Thank you, Alice and Thanos!

The space itself very local and nice, close to everything and still very calm. Welcome and pragmatical place to stay. Very local and typical surrendering

It also has a fenced-in outside area, and the friendly hosts gave us access to their beautiful pool, which was a huge perk!

Very helpful hosts, friendly and engaging, passionate about their home and island. We received a lot of information about La Reunion and precious tips for our hikes and drives. We spent two evenings together over dinner where we were introduced to fresh, outstanding local cuisine which we truly welcomed after our long days out exploring.

L’anthurium er et overnatningssted med grillfaciliteter og ligger i Saint-Paul, 11 km fra The House of Coco, 13 km fra Botanical Gardens Mascarin og 22 km fra Stella Matutina Museum. Lovely stay with all amenities available. The hosts left us fresh baguette every morning. On the final day we had to leave very early and there was even a baguette on the terrace before 7 am! Can simply recommend this place
