Something better than this would be difficult to find. The cabin was perfect with everything that I could need. It was very spacious with a great sea view. Kitchen had all the utensils I could need from a water kettle for tea to a dishwasher. I travelled alone with the goal of disconnection and relaxation but there is enough space to a larger group of people. The location is perfect, the shop (ICA) is near and within walking distance from the pier where the ferry leaves you or a bust stop. Best of all, the location between Hönö and Öckero islands. This way one can go hiking north to Öckero and Hälsö one day and another day go south to hike around Hönö and Fotö.

This was a perfect place to stay. Our hosts were kind, caring and helpful. Thechotel has been totally renovated and is spotlessly clean. There is a nice terrace with a view over the sea and a bar open from 1500 to 2000 for the residents. The fish soup on our last evening was delicious.

We loved the convenience of the flat and its location, just a short drive to Strömstad and with a beautiful sandy beach down the road. To top it off, our hostess was welcoming snd uncomplicated. I can recommend her apartment 100% and would love to come again for a longer stay.

At a scenic seaside location, Everts Sjöbods Bed & Breakfast features a terrace and free WiFi access. Vitlycke Museum is 11.2 km away. Most guest rooms feature sea views. I spent two nights here in October. By far the best B&B I’ve ever stayed at. The location is unique, with beautiful, quiet rooms and a modern kitchen, a great breakfast, and a very friendly English-speaking hostess. Definitely recommended!

Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.
