Wonderfully friendly nuns. The house is totally barrier-free (step-free), including the shower Even though it's only two stories, there is a lift to the top floor. Some have called the rooms simple but in fact nothing at all is lacking, by hotel standards, except maybe shampoo. Exceptionally clean too, daily housekeeping. Pleasant, old-fashioned library where you could sit on a rainy day. Parking in front of the house. Too far from town to walk but there is a lovely garden and a bathing place, right on the lake shore. The water was a bit cold when I was there at the end of June...

We like that the place is spacious, dog friendly, and was dethatched from other homes in the area. You truly had like your own little cottage. The bedroom not only was spacious but the bed was exquisite! We slept so comfortably. I took pic of the mattress and pillows so I can buy the exact same on returning to Norway. The host greeted us and was very friendly. There was no problem getting in touch for they were very attentive. Very bright and clean place.

A recently renovated apartment set in Sörsjön, Stationshuset Dalarna Apartments features a garden. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

We had an absolute magnificent stay in Stationshuset. The area in Dalarna is super nice, and perfect for a calm vacation. The accommodation has everything what it needs, it is super clean and cozy. Bettina and Markus are amazing hosts. They had great tips for activities nearby and even organized a dog sledge trip with her friend Detlef. It was a very great experience and will remain a wonderful memory. Bettina and Markus also borrowed us their snowshoes for a hike through the deep snow, such that we could enjoy hiking tracks where the snow was not cleared. Thank you for having us we will come back sometime during summer.

Charming small cabin with a wonderful view of the lake. The cabin is located in a small settlement of approx 20 cabins, but as this cabin is located at the outskirts, you forget that there are other houses in the neighborhood. We got the code to open the door by message prior to arrival, super convenient. The cabin itself is well-designed, very nicely decorated (dalahäst theme) and practical. The room for the children with three bunk beds is really tiny, no storage space at all, but it worked. The master bedroom and the bathroom are surprisingly spacious. The kitchen is functional and even has a small but very efficient dishwasher (dishwasher tabs are not provided). The area is wonderful for all sorts of winter sports. We intended to do iceskating on the lake but unfortunately, the ice wasn't cleared for skating. We opted for cross-country skiing instead and were enchanted by the variety and the lovely countryside. A downhill skiing area is about 5 min away by car.
