We were the only guests staying that night and had a great nights sleep after a long journey. Supermarket shops about a 20/ 30 minute drive and we were able to get some food and use the microwave. Not long after we left our car left the road due to the snow and our host Per was very kind and superb and arranged for his friend to come with a tractor and rescue us. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 15 km from Kiruna Bus Station. The balcony at Cozy Cabin was the best part of our stay. It offers an elevated view of the surrounding and let us snap some nice pictures of the Northern lights. There is a bit of light pollution but manageable. It was windy one night and being able to hop into the cabin to stay warm quickly is a big plus. Marc was the most gracious host i've met. Thank you.

I had a truly lovely stay at Aurora River Camp and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I originally booked a cabin but upon arrival the manager who kindly picked me up from the airport mentioned during our conversation that a glass igloo had just become available that same night. Someone else had unfortunately cancelled because they couldn’t make it in time due to heavy snow. I felt incredibly lucky to be offered the upgrade. Choosing the glass igloo was absolutely worth it. especially if you’re into hunting the Northern Lights. The experience of relaxing comfortably while watching the sky above was unforgettable and made the trip feel truly magical. The cabin itself was also cozy and well maintained, and the hospitality throughout my stay was exceptional warm, personal, and genuine. This is a very popular place so I highly recommend booking well ahead of time. I just happened to be fortunate that night due to the unexpected cancellation. Aurora River Camp offers an amazing combination of comfort, great service, and unforgettable Arctic experiences. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
