Supermarket shops about a 20/ 30 minute drive and we were able to get some food and use the microwave. Not long after we left our car left the road due to the snow and our host Per was very kind and superb and arranged for his friend to come with a tractor and rescue us. Well above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you so much.

Extremely convenient and beautiful building ran by kind people, from the first receptionist to the bar tender Elee and Alvan and a sweet man we met named Joel that was helping with a Maitenence issue! Everyone was so sweet - we had the best time and left a part of our hearts in Kiruna! Can’t wait to return to this wonderful hotel… also, get the junior suite! It’s worth it and hit the spa!!

Wonderfull silent place to see the Aurora from your terrace in front of the lake. We saw it!!! Cozy, clean comfortable cabin with everything you need, better than a hotel. The accommodation is non-smoking. My friends and I just enjoyed one of the best experiences of our life with our stay at Camp Caroli. We stayed in family cabin and it was truly perfect. It was spacious, cozy and comfortable. We especially loved sitting in the living room drinking coffee after a cold day outside. Waking up each morning to an amazing view of the snow, the frozen lake, and the raw wilderness was breathtaking! We experienced many great excursions thanks to Amanda who set everything up for us. She was extremely helpful and was always available to answer questions through email or phone. Stefan, our host, was absolutely a super star. He picked us up from the airport, took us grocery shopping, and drove us to all of our excursions which included dog sledding, the ice hotel, and our quest to find the perfect spot to view the northern lights! He was very accommodating for all of our needs during our stay. This was a dream vacation come true for us! Camp Caroli and Stefan made our bucket list dreams come true! Thank you for an amazing adventure!!

We stayed in the igloo bungalow overlooking the lake, and had one of the most magical experiences ever <3 can only recommend!

Beautifull short hike from the house along the river to a stone beach on the lake. Close enough to train station to walk.
