The wine tasting, cellar tour, breakfast at the restaurant with a stunning view, as well as all the recommendations for other places to visit in Brda, are just some of the reasons we would always return to the Ščurek family. We were provided with a variety of leaflets with activities in the local area(alongside a few glasses of wine). We definitely recommend Sabotin for the WW1 caves and tunnels and the stunning views. The apartment is beautiful. We could watch the sunrise across the vineyards from the bedroom. The bed was so comfy. We loved the Nespresso machine and pods! We wished we stayed longer. The local wine bar is lovely with nice views. There is a lot to do in the area around Smartno.

We loved her house wine and fresh apricots and plums from the garden. We had lovely views from this well equipped and comfortable home in a traditional wine village!

Great place to relax, make biking, hiking, bare foot walking, enjoying and painting gorgeous views 30-45 mins by car to reach sea beaches on Italian coast. 2 hrs Train to Venice Plenty of local wineries Wine festival in Nov 11th. The breakfast was nice and the host, Nena, made us eggs to order each morning with freshly brewed coffee to boot. We made liberal use of the sauna and pool and in room wines! Very happy with our stay and would recommend any one who is looking to relax to stay at Villa Vajta.

The breakfast was exceptional. Both the rooms and the restaurant have a beautiful view over the hills. The restaurant's setting in particular is fantastic.
