Great location. Quiet, calm, relaxing. Very warm welcoming by the Scurek Family, with one of their own sparkling wines as welcoming drink. Excellent service. Very modern and stylish place, felt luxurious, beautiful architecture. Nice pool with vineyard view. Also recommend the very generous wine tasting. Everything exceeded our expectations.

We were provided with a variety of leaflets with activities in the local area(alongside a few glasses of wine). We definitely recommend Sabotin for the WW1 caves and tunnels and the stunning views. The apartment is beautiful. We could watch the sunrise across the vineyards from the bedroom. The bed was so comfy. We loved the Nespresso machine and pods! We wished we stayed longer. The local wine bar is lovely with nice views. There is a lot to do in the area around Smartno.

She organized a wine tasting for us also. The view from the terrace across the wine fields was great. Would love to come again and stay longer than one night.

If only I could give more than 10. The owners are truly amazing, kind and friendly with a great sense of humour. They chatted with us, showed us around and explained everything. There were homemade cookies, wine, beers, coffee, tea and bottled water waiting for us at the apartment for free. It feels like home and looks much better in real than in photos. Everything perfectly clean and furnished, very spacious and comfortable. Amazing sitting area in front of the house overlooking the vineyards. We didn't want to leave at all. My friend sat too hard on the bed and broke the grate. We offered to reimburse the owners but they wanted nothing and were still kind enough to wish us well.

The breakfast was nice and the host, Nena, made us eggs to order each morning with freshly brewed coffee to boot. We made liberal use of the sauna and pool and in room wines! Very happy with our stay and would recommend any one who is looking to relax to stay at Villa Vajta.

The location was perfect, with beautiful views overlooking the vineyards and surrounding area. The room was modern and very clean and they even provided us with a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary which made the occasion feel very special. Finally breakfast in the morning was huge, locally sourced and very tasty!
