It's a lovely, cozy hotel, a little bit remote from the city centre, but it was a perfect choice for us, as we enjoyed walking along the beautiful Drava River with our four-legged friend. The staff here is extremely friendly, and you immediately get the feeling that you're truly welcome. This is the general feeling that we had everywhere in Maribor, such a wonderful city!

The apartment was on the ground floor, with a possibility to park my car literally in front of the entrance. The apartment was huge, fully equipped and very functional. Nice beds, A/C working to cool or heat. Fully equipped kitchen, with a couple of little gifts inside (like jam for instance). Easy to find. Very kind and friendly staff.

Surrounded by a large green surface with wooden benches, the bright Panorama B&B come with free WiFi, LCD satellite TV and a terrace. Everything was great. Room was very clean and the location is spectacular overlooking the castle. Breakfast was the best part. The owner herself cooked a fabulous, organic and home grown breakfast.

Located in downtown Maribor, a few metres from Drava River, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour front desk. Maribor’s ski lift is just 6 km away. Very comfortable bed and a quiet place to relax, good breakfast and it’s in the city center.

Only 1 km from the centre of Maribor, the Črni Baron Pension Black Baron is located in Malečnik, 20 metres from a bus stop. Very homely and clean room which also had 2 bathrooms. The room was very nice and had very nice views of the snowy landscape. The host was extremely nice. Offered us cake when we arrived and packed apples and water for the trip when we left. Personalized yummy breakfast with eggs and bacon.

We were treated to an array of incredibly fresh, locally sourced food, including a variety of regional cheeses, drinks, and delicious vegetarian options. The rooms are super cozy, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location is unbeatable—nestled in the mountains, the air is crisp and clean, making it an ideal spot for hiking and trekking enthusiasts. Beyond the immediate surroundings, you can easily visit the charming city of Maribor, nearby waterfalls, and other scenic attractions in the Pohorje region. A perfect blend of comfort, nature, and local culture—highly recommended!
