I really appreciated the calm, serene setting, so much so that I stayed an extra night. It was just what I needed after a very busy week travelling down from Dakar seeing so many different things and places, this was the perfect antedote. The staff are a really lovely team, especially Mamy and Khassim - I’ll miss you both! I liked waking up to the sounds of nature, watching the crabs doing their rituals on the small beach, identifying various birds on the river and within the mangrove. The free kayaking is worth doing. Food was European style and three courses available for dinner, quality was decent. I met some other travellers and we had such a nice time, having apéro, dinner and doing a pirogue tour together. The Bazouk kindly arranged a taxi for me from Joal-Fadiouth. All in all I had an amazing time here, merci à tous 🤎

Maison Fimela asub Fimelas. Kohapeal on välibassein, aed, restoran ja baar. Majutusasutuses on concierge ja pakihoid. Tubades on veekeetja. I booked Maison Fimela after travelling in Senegal for two weeks, wanting to end the trip by visiting the UNESCO listed Saloum Delta. I’m very glad I did. This was the best accommodation I stayed in, with the best food and hospitality of the entire trip. The place feels like an oasis for birdwatching, and I especially enjoyed meditating and listening to the birdsongs. Nature focused travellers will love it, and the Saloum Delta itself is not to be missed (although I saw more birds in the lagoon in front of the hotel than during my delta excursion) Chloé was very helpful in organising my excursions and arranging a taxi to the airport. I have no complaints at all and was very happy with my stay.

Located on the island of Mar Lodj, off the main land of Iles du saloum. The property provides a serene, tranquil and peaceful environment. Host and owner Emmanuel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable to best navigate the surroundings.

Hiljuti renoveeritud hommikusöögiga majutusasutus Campement Houefa asub Ndanganes. Külalised saavad nautida aiavaateid. The property is located at the edge of Ndangane. Because there are no other properties between theirs and the Sine-Saloum Delta we noticed more wild birds here than anywhere else in Ndangane. The accomodation is exceptional and our room was lovely - great shower as well. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Main Street / jetty. We must not forget the most important person, Marie-Augustine. We had read about this lady in other reviews and they were correct. What a lovely, kind person. Nothing is too much trouble. We asked if we could meet a local family and Marie-Augustine organised this. We learnt more about local life and had a meal with the family. What a fantastic day. If we ever venture here again we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Last but not least Vincent & Nicolas also made us feel welcome at Campement Houefa.

Clean and spacious room, with mosquito nets over the beds that allowed us to sleep peacefully. The only place where we didn't find any mosquitoes. The owner helped us with everything. The house has a large shared kitchen with everything you need.

La Maison Blanche pakub majutust Ndanganes. Aiaga apartemendil on tasuta eraparkla. Peretubadega majutusasutusel on ka aastaringselt avatud välibassein. We loved our stay there! Joseph and his family are the best hosts ever, it was like staying with friends. They really took care of us and helped us with onwards travel and drove us to places. We liked the colorful apartment which is just like in the photos, very homely and quiet. Enjoyed the use of the kitchen, liked the garden and the pool. Nice walks to the jetty and to the village. Joseph has all the info you possibly want for the area.

Résidence Le Marlodj on hiljuti renoveeritud korterhotell Mar Lodjis, kus külalised saavad kasutada eraranda ja veespordivahendeid. The staff was so welcoming and helpfull, so natural. The food was just amazing, she cooks very well. And las but not the least, their boatman is the "best", so professionnal, kind, and a "Chef".
