Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Hotel grounds is picturesque. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable with appropriately thick sheets. Bathroom is clean with a high pressure shower. Staff let us have their complimentary breakfast despite having to checkout early.

Located within a 5-minute ride from Chiang Rai Clock Tower, Saikaew Resort features cosy cottages with modern facilities with a laundry service. Free WiFi is provided throughout the resort. It’s such a pleasant stay that we liked it so much. We stayed for 4 nights and everything was just perfect. The owner and his wife are such fantastic people that we felt we were in good hands. It’s so chill and tranquil in the morning when you can take a seat in the dining room, sipping some coffee, gazing at the pond, and even feeding a bit the fish. Sometimes we would have some companies, the house is pet friendly, they have many dogs and cats, they are just so adorable and lovely. In general we loved it very much. Definitely a 10 place!

The homestay is at such beautiful location overlooking city lights and mountains. You can watch sunrise right from the bed. The service is exceptional. The hosts, Fon and Walter, have been nothing short of amazing. They helped to arrange for driver to and fro city, serves perfect breakfast, tea and home cooked dinner. You can walk to nearby cafes about 20mins away but they also offer drop off and pick up services.

The host is fantastic and really goes out of her way to make your stay pleasant :) The room is super pleasant. Comes with mosquito nets. The cheaper room doesn't have AC, which was absolutely fine. Maybe not an ideal room if you're a light sleeper.
