We got stuck at a bus stop down the road and he was so kind to come pick us up. He let us drop our bags off early and even offered to take us to Shizhuo for dinner. There was hot water available, which was great. The owner was kind and hospitable. The location is perfect, close to Xiding bus stop, making it convenient to get around. It’s about 15–30 minutes to the Tea/Mist and Eryanping trails if you enjoy hiking. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Taiwan.

Their breakfast is good, and their tea ceremony is very interesting and nice, with a very knowledgeable person answering all our questions. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. I needed to go to the pharmacy in the small town. They offered to take me there and helped.

The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

The staff were very helpful and communication was effortless. There was complimentary bottled water available, as well as tea and a moka pot. They also provide a washing machine and a dryer. Tasty breakfast. Wonderfull views from the windows.
