I didn't plan to travel Sanyi but prices were just crazy during weekend in Taichung and Puli so i gave a try... and honestly it was worth it. Good and clean hostel with friendly and helpful owner. I recommend a stop here and go hike Huoyanshan mountain .

I can not express how amazing the owners are! The rooms are in their home and they make you feel like you’ve become their children. They are so incredibly kind and helpful and welcoming! The rooms were extremely comfortable, even the shared bathroom is very nice. The location is top-notch too. It’s wayyy up in the mountains and the view from their roof over the mountains in the morning is….. I have no words to express it. Again just an awesome stay would definitely go back again!

南庄東村宿舍 Nanzhuang Dongchon Homestay มีวิวสวนและมีบริการที่พักพร้อมลานระเบียงและกาต้มน้ำ โดยอยู่ห่างจาก Museum of Saisiat Folklore ประมาณ 13 กม. ที่พักนี้อยู่ห่างจาก Tai ' an Hot Spring 27 กม. We had a lovely stay! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with tatami mats and futons - we really liked the japanese style. There is a cafe, souvenir shop and free kimono rental. 3 min walk to the Old Street where you can find some yummy food. Highly recommend!

微光書旅-輕旅 อยู่ใน Tongluo โดยห่างจากตลาดกลางคืนเฝิงเจี่ย 41 กม. และห่างจากห้างสรรพสินค้า SOGO ก่วงซาน 44 กม. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly host. Lovingly cute cat and amazing facilities. Exceeded my expectations in every metric. Please give this place a try if you are visiting the area!

Guan Ma Homestay อยู่ห่างจาก Tai ' an Hot Spring 31 กม. ที่พักนี้มีเลานจ์ส่วนกลาง ระเบียง และอินเทอร์เน็ตไร้สาย (WiFi) ฟรี ยูนิตของที่พักนี้มาพร้อมลานระเบียง เครื่องปรับอากาศ และโทรทัศน์จอแบน... Guan ma is the sweetest!!! Honestly can't recommend this homestay enough! Guan ma prepared cherry tomatoes and biscuits when I arrived, and she was more than happy to chat with me about life in Taiwan and her family. Really felt like I came home to my grandma's place. When she found out I had to leave very early the next day, she helped me to call a taxi and offered to wake up extra early to cook me breakfast. The facilities are also pretty great, but there is no lift in the house and the room is on the 2nd floor, so you can leave your luggage on the first floor and just bring what you need upstairs (that's what i did). Hot water is hot enough and water pressure is great. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood and you can see lots of stars on a clear night. This place made my stay in Miaoli 10/10. Would definitely come back

Tong Xin Farmstay อยู่ใน Gongguan ห่างจากตลาดกลางคืนเฝิงเจี่ย 46 กม. และห่างจากห้างสรรพสินค้า SOGO ก่วงซาน 49 กม. Place is clean, cosy and serene. Feel relaxed as it's quiet and located next to a strawberry farm and lake. Host is friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the quadruple room and design is Japanese style and has all the necessities.

The place was very neat and tidy and the owners were very friendly and responsive to our enquiries. Directions to the homestay were also clearcut. It's also located near the train station.

Healthy and delicious breakfast . The host is very hospitable and share her experience . The day we stay is also Winter Solstice, host prepare sweet dumplings for us that makes us feel like home
