We had 4 great safaris and we spotted 4 of the big 5. The meals were very good, original, with a twist. The chef is great and we highly recommend the restaurant. Andreas, our guide, was knowledgeable and really friendly. We strongly recommend the Garden Route Game Lodge.

With out doubt the best hosts we have experienced on our travels, with such an interest in the area, its wellbeing and ensuring all guests have an amazing experience not just in the Lazy Lion but the Knysna area. The room had amazing views, was immaculate with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was so personal with Ella changing options daily, with her own homemade specialities. Exceptional, would love to return and are planning our next trip

It’s set in a peaceful and beautiful location, a charming, tastefully decorated, and spacious home. Aneta and Japie are such wonderful people and truly made it feel like home!
