Featuring a lovely outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and free BBQ facilities, Plantation Park Motor Inn is a 3-minute walk from Ayr town centre. Absolutely everything possible. The lady (couple) who owns it was so extremely helpful in all ways. From responding to my query in email quickly about needing ground floor unit as I have to use a walker. To explaining about a festival in town that day. even going as far as giving me a number in case need anything as they were going to festival. All staff were extremely friendly. polite and very helpful. Room was very clean, well maintained with a lot of room to move. Lovely very hot water with really good pressure was nice change. Lovely and quiet motel on main street. Hoping to get back again soon and stay longer.

Located opposite 8-acres of parkland, Tropical City Motor Inn offers an on-site café, a garden and both laundry. Free WiFi is provided. We were looking for accommodation for one night on our way to Airlie Beach and luckily found this motel. It had everything we needed. It was clean, had air conditioning, a fridge and a parking space. Our room had the perfect size for 2 people and luggage. What was super convenient for us was that we could do all our laundry there. There were washing machines and dryers. There are many restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. We found everything we needed to refill for our onward journey. The owner was very friendly and helpful. As a little highlight, there were 3 well-behaved cats who were happy to be petted. We are particularly fond of the red cat without a tail :)

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, BIG4 Townsville Gateway Holiday Park is situated in Townsville. Townsville 400 Racetrack Start/Finish line is 6 km from the property. The bed was so comfortable, the cabin was clean and the entire site was welcoming. The pool looked amazing, although it was too cold for us to have a swim. We made friends with a few puppies- love that the park is pet friendly, and we met a turkey, I assume he is also a resident.
