Great location, excellent rooms with lounge, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and balcony. Pool was nice with pool noodles supplied as an added bonus. 2 beers in the fridge on arrival - assuming these were part of the deal which was an amazing surprise, thanks.

My twin sister and I travelled from Australia. We found Hotel Boss exceptional (beyond our expectations) on every single level. We had the best time together at the hotel and it was lovely to come back to our room after each long day out. We booked a room with a verandah and that's what made our visit so very special. Beautiful view and perfect place to have our snacks in the evening. Thank you so much to all the staff. You are all awesome.

This little resort is a tropical island only 1 1/2 from Darwin. There is 10km of well maintained road as you arrive, we did this easy after and during heavy rain. We were upgraded to a beach front room, which are basic but the only time we were in them was to sleep, because we were either sitting on the balcony with stunning views, in one of the 2 pools, feeding the residents animals, eating and drinking at the restaurant or fishing.
The staff are very friendly and we could have stayed so much longer. You can hire a boat or bring your own. Camp or stay in the new luxury villas. We were lucky enough to catch so many fish from the shore, its a fishermans haven.
Our highlight was watching a crocodile swim past whilst enjoying our complementary breakfast.

Tim’s surf & turf is a nice family friendly restaurant within walking distance from the hotel or a quick 4 minute drive.
The waterfront is great entertainment, there’s a playground for kids and free or paid swimming options. Lots of lovely restaurant’s and shops.

Darwin is a city that has undergone several disasters, such as war and typhoons. But the city has been re-built to what it is today.
The city inhabitants comprise of various cultures, both locals as well as foreigners. It is truly a multi-cultural society living in harmony.
A visit to the war museum at the wharf is very enlightening.
Tourists should be aware that the Hop-on Hop-off bus service runs only 3 days in a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, it is good to check and confirm this before making plans.

Be prepared for hot weather I really enjoyed then Oaks hotel although i was looking forward to a swim and sit by the pool in the warm weather. At the time of booking I wasn't told the pool was under maintenance and out of order :-(
