Clean, tidy , conviennent location, only a few minutes drive to main Street , reasonably priced , able to get meals at the hotel when relatives joined us (thé crispy skinned barra with veg was very nice) ; had a modern renovated feel about it ; great comfy beds; was quiet overnight ; easy walking to local IGA and other shops; and able to borrow an iron ; shared bathroom and kitchenette worked well ; was able to park out the back ; Manager was accommodating ;

room was very clean and very reasonable quality room for the price I paid. quite room even though it's on a main road. special thanks to the lady who answered the phone after I booked at 8pm on a Saturday online to confirm the after hours check-in process. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and every time we are extremely happy with the service and accommodations. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and helpful and the rooms are always very comfortable. We will continue to favour this hotel when staying in Kempsey.

A pleasant country town.
A pleasant country town. Easy access by car to lovely beaches at South West Rocks, Hatt Head and other surrounding country areas. Also a visit to the Akubra Kempsey Store for that special 'outback' hat or visit the Slim Dusty Museum.

The accommodation was fantastic and the people of Kempsey...
The accommodation was fantastic and the people of Kempsey all very friendly. As I didn't have a vehicle I had to walk or use taxis. Everybody was very accommodating. I stayed mainly within the CBD and thoroughly enjoyed my time

Park on the river was OK if you avoided the duck feces...
Park on the river was OK if you avoided the duck feces everywhere. The city centre looked depressed (many vacant shops and charity shops) and somewhat threatening. The RSL bistro was OK but the access to the club itself needs better sign posting for non-locals. My patner injured her leg in the dark steps tryng to reach the club entry from the side of the river. What a joke!
