I recommend staying at this motel if you are visiting Tenant Creek! The staff are excellent, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and the pool is clean and at the perfect temperature. The motel is not in the town centre, but just outside, with security gates. And for the breakfast is a simple one but nice one.

Outback Caravans is the best place to stay in this small town. Safe, clean & convenient. The IGA in Tennant Creek must be new or newly remodeled because the inside of the store is so nice Great selection groceries & other items.

Ours was only an overnight stop to break a long drive from...

Ours was only an overnight stop to break a long drive from Alice Springs to Mount Isa. We checked in, had a drink at the club and next morning moved on so would not be able to give an opinion one way or the other.

I did not feel safe or comfortable in the centre of town so...

I did not feel safe or comfortable in the centre of town so did not stop there. The Lake Mary Ann picnic area was lovely with many peacocks and geese wandering around. Our main reason for staying in Tennant Creek was to use it as a base to explore the Devils Marbles area which was well worth the 1 hour drive south.
