Everything about Australia is vast. It’s as wild as it is beautiful, with crimson outback sands and multi-hued reefs surrounding super cities like Sydney and Melbourne. Bordered by the Indian Ocean to the west and the South Pacific Ocean to the east, Australia is home to some of the world’s best beaches, including Bondi in Sydney or Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. If you’ve got a bucket list, then Australia is a goldmine of once-in-a-lifetime activities. Snorkelling by the Great Barrier Reef, cage diving with great white sharks, driving the Great Ocean Road and camel rides on Cable Beach to name just a few. The majority of Australians live in one of the stylish cities, such as glamourous Sydney has the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge, or the sport-mad cultural capital of Melbourne. Adelaide in the south is a frenzy of festivals while the West boasts Perth – boasting ceaseless sunshine and a laidback lifestyle. If you’re backpacking through the outback, there are plenty of campsites, caravan parks and hostels scattered all around. There’s also a good selection of B&Bs and guesthouses, but if you want to take it up a notch, most cities offer a number of serviced apartments and luxury hotels.
I'm from Sydney and was back visiting friends and wanted somewhere central and convenient to stay. Great public transport close by and Macquarie shopping centre also. Room was good size and clean. Only thing was the air conditioner didn't work real well, but everything else was great. Non Australian staff at reception which is always surprising in hotels but English was ok.
Hidden Paradise, perfect place for escape from the fast life
Large space, plenty of rooms
Farm animals, Australian wildlife at your doorstep (Kangaroos, etc.)
Peaceful place in the mountains isolated
Friendly family owned house
The grounds were good with an excellent pool area for kids and BBQ area. Parking was good and available at your site. Check-in was easy and went smooth however like most Caravan Parks in Australia you need to arrive before six.
Great place for a family holiday. We had a 3bedroomed house with private rooftop jacuzzi. It was perfect for 2 families and 3 kids. Spacious with two TV areas and a big balcony out the front. The beds were fabulous. The pool and playground were great for the little kids. They had a baby pool, small kids pool and then a big pool for adults. It was great and so safe. The little beach area was perfect for babies and toddlers too. We loved everything about RACV.
We loved our stay at Seaworld, our room was very clean and comfortable. The Shoreline restaurant was absolutely fine for a buffet breakfast and dinner, especially with children. They loved the ice cream machine! The waterpark and pool area was fantastic and our girls had it all to themselves too.
The service was amazing! We were welcomed with beautiful smiles from the receptionist as well as the amazing assistance from the porters! The porters were very helpful with our belongings as well as making sure that it was a stress free environment when transferring things from car to room!
