The city centre is laid out in a grid pattern and extremely easy to navigate with numerous choices of food establishments. Definitely need more time next visit to take it all in. Spoiled for choice with food outlets. Amazing markets.

Botanical Gardens are magnificent with plenty of botanical variety & experiences. Zoo is always worthwhile, well kept with well informed volunteers & staff. Broad spectrum of sports facilities. Adelaide is a great place for relaxation and exploration of nature. The city is very chill. The July winter weather is very refreshing and we loved the fresh air, blue sky, warm sun during the day. Public transport is convenient - even to towns. Definitely recommend taking the advantage of their free bus services as they can get you to most of the landmarks with in the CBD. However, I would recommend to get a rental car if you want to visit farms and vineyards. The Adelaide Central market has so many stores and it is definitely a MUST VISIT spot - lots of food options, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Sunset by the beach (we went to Glenelg) was beautiful too. There are different beaches but we only visited one.Adeline XAustralia
