Great location, friendly efficient staff The apartment was such a good size for 3, and being on the 72nd floor, the views were fantastic. Everything was lovely and clean, the couple of minor issues we had with one of the toilets were dealt with promptly. We would highly recommend The Meriton Suites Herschel Street to anyone considering a stay in Brisbane.

Well I arrived the the airport at 1am in the morning so had to get a taxi which is fast cause they are already waiting. I already read the reviews stating no food shops closeby so I have to tell the taxi driver take me to McDonald's grab something to eat then drop me off. I like the room it is very clean and the bed ohh so comfy.

Big room with a big balcony. Room was basic but value for money. Location was only a 10 minute walk to CBD which was great. Nice pool but very shady and windy area. Car park was only $25 for the night but suitable for small cars otherwise quite difficult to manoeuvre. Staff were helpful and friendly.

At the meeting point of Australia’s Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, laidback Brisbane is spread around the meandering river running through it. The river’s arty South Bank is home to Australia’s largest modern art gallery, tranquil gardens and an artificial beach. Just opposite is the towering skyline of Brisbane's CBD, where many hotels in Brisbane city centre are located.
Nearby are the botanic gardens and Queen Street Mall, the most popular Brisbane shopping spot. More shopping centres are found all over the city, and the out-of-town malls include one in the Indooroopilly suburb by the foothills of Mount Coot-tha.
This green hill offers fabulous city views and has a planetarium, nature reserve and yet more botanic gardens. In Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary to the south you can hug one of the loveable animals, while Australia Zoo – Steve Irwin’s legacy – is a good day trip.
Brisbane is a very leafy city and one of its parks – Wickham Park – contains the Old Windmill, Brisbane’s oldest building. To the north-east, the Fortitude Valley suburb is known for its vibrant music scene and Chinatown. Across the river in Woolloongabba is The Gabba or Brisbane Cricket Ground, and nearby is the bohemian West End district.
As well as central accommodation, Booking.com also offers hotels near Brisbane Airport in a north-eastern coastal suburb.
Vibrant City with lots to see and do. Wednesday city Brisbane market was unexpected with fresh fruit for sale and other products as well. The beach and pool by the river full of life with kids and families.

Brisbane is a pretty city easy to get around with either buses, Uber or hire scooters which we used. Southbank is an easily accessible point to the Theatre, Museum, CBD or the Valley where we attended a concert. Dined out at La Costa - great food and excellent service !We love Brisbane and visit often.

Brisbane was the second last Australian capital city that we needed to explore on our bucket list. Straight up, my wife now prefers it to Melbourne, her previous all time favourite. We flew from Newcastle and had to rely on public transport and Ubers. Trains, buses and ferries were 50 cents., clean and plentiful. The people are friendly, the fashions fabulous and the bars and restaurants are classy and interesting. We think Brisbane is now our "go to" for long weekend getaways. Stanley Restaurant a standout.

We used to travel to Brisbane for work and had never made time to check it out. It has certainly matured nicely and has a great mixture of culture and sight seeing to do and enjoy. We spent 4 days staying in South Brisbane which was the perfect location for checking out the CBD, the galleries, South Bank and the other side of the River including the Star Casino area and the Botanical gardens. Oh and the September weather was perfect for being on foot.

Plenty on in Brisbabe at the time to see. Also was there to visit a sick friend who was having major Heart Surgery. One of the reasons I chose this location.
Plenty of food places around but difficult to drive into the city from there
We didn't have breakfast with you but did have snacks and coffee using the modern kitchen set-up.
The room was spotless, fabulous high ceilings, great relaxing colours, super comfortable beds and a view from a very classic building in a great location close to CBD and Southbank.
We were so happy with the room and will stay there again next time we go to Brisbane
Perfect location with easy access to Southbank and Brisbane CBD, and nicely positioned right on the Brisbane river. Units are well equipped with everything required for a short or longer stay. There are lots of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance of the complex.

Perfect Apartment for short or longer stay with great kitchen are and washing facilities.
