I am a small eater. So I told the lady to remove items like bacon etc from the breakfast. But she felt I will go hungry and so put so much of potatoes and eggs. It's really difficult to see such love for the guests. I am really happy about it

Serene as the Swan

Sun-drenched and laidback, Perth is simply a joy to be in. However, the West Australian capital does have tourist attractions, such as the Colonial-era mint, important in the country’s gold industry. East is the WACA, a must-see for cricket fans, and the city is also mad for Aussie Rules football.

The city centre has the historic Government House and Supreme Court, both dwarfed by the ultra-modern skyscrapers a few streets behind. The best skyline view is from leafy King’s Park, near the War Memorial overlooking the Swan River below, named after its black swans. Across the river in Perth Zoo are more native animals including koalas, crocodiles and free-hopping kangaroos.

Boats to the zoo leave from the Barrack Street jetty by a sail-shaped bell tower. Other day trips from Perth include Rottnest Island and Fremantle, down the river in the opposite direction from Perth Airport.

The apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Perth are spread all over this fantastic city, interspersed with restaurants serving specialities such as western rock lobster and chilli mussels. There is also a wealth of bars, many playing the indie music that the city is known for. Local brews from the Swan Brewery and wines from the Swan Valley vineyards round off the evening.

We stayed a couple of days either side of our trip to the...

We stayed a couple of days either side of our trip to the Pilbara so we could check out the city. I think we walked every street in the CBD and beyond. There is so much to see and do! The transport system is incredible with free CAT buses and plenty of trains. Not only did we do a lot of walking but we caught the train to Fremantle and used it to get to and from the airport. We caught the bus to the zoo and the incredible Kings Park and Botanical Gardens and went back in the evening for Lightscape.

Perth is an amazing city very clean and it has a decent night-life on weekends it has some incredible food although can be over priced in some locations it is easy to get around and the beautiful beaches aren't too far away best of all worlds

Perth is quite literally God's own country.

Perth is quite literally God's own country. The affluence is obvious compared to Sydney. There are excellent arterial and sub-arterial roads and no toll roads. Bus services around the city block are free. The city is exceptionally clean. The housing standard is the highest in Austrlalia with double brick being the most common construction type

This is our fourth consecutive years to Perth.

This is our fourth consecutive years to Perth. It's a great place for beautiful weather, many playgrounds for kids, many parks for walks. We drive to other cities out of Perth. It was peaceful and great for families with kids. The fresh produce was awesome!

good for short time relax trip, may only allow you visit couple places due to terrible traffic and parking problems for people who want to come and enjoy the holiday pls pre planned and time management, otherwise stuck in road for over 30mins to 1 hour is super normal in Perth

Obviously a large accomodation venue and quite busy so seems to be a popular choice. Basically we were in transit so didn’t use the pool. We were allocated a room on third floor and very grateful it had a lift. Very effective blockout blinds. I think that I paid close to $250 for one night I guess that is the going rate in Perth. Perth airport doesn’t seem to have any hotels onsite so travellers have to choose one of the off site options. We didn’t use the shuttle but that would be a bonus for many airline passengers in transit.

It's really a great option for Perth. It's in a nice, central area, and any decent hotel would cost 3 times as much. Plus, with a hotel, you wouldn't get a full kitchen, dinning room and living room, laundry too. We enjoyed it. They are shared spaces, but we generally had the house to ourselves. Good value

The hotel is a very well run establishment. Reception staff were very obliging and friendly. The hotel was the best value for our overnight stay close to Perth airport and provided a free shuttle to the airport. Our room had a microwave. It is ok for a one night stay.
