Modern practical facilities. The best internet in Perth (honestly so hard to get a decent business hotel). Microwave available for reheating meals from the supermarket. Jogging area and gym outside. While the hotel is primarily for university based folk it is not that far from Perth and the bus hub is very close. I'd stay here again if I needed the working facilities.

Serene as the Swan

Sun-drenched and laidback, Perth is simply a joy to be in. However, the West Australian capital does have tourist attractions, such as the Colonial-era mint, important in the country’s gold industry. East is the WACA, a must-see for cricket fans, and the city is also mad for Aussie Rules football.

The city centre has the historic Government House and Supreme Court, both dwarfed by the ultra-modern skyscrapers a few streets behind. The best skyline view is from leafy King’s Park, near the War Memorial overlooking the Swan River below, named after its black swans. Across the river in Perth Zoo are more native animals including koalas, crocodiles and free-hopping kangaroos.

Boats to the zoo leave from the Barrack Street jetty by a sail-shaped bell tower. Other day trips from Perth include Rottnest Island and Fremantle, down the river in the opposite direction from Perth Airport.

The apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Perth are spread all over this fantastic city, interspersed with restaurants serving specialities such as western rock lobster and chilli mussels. There is also a wealth of bars, many playing the indie music that the city is known for. Local brews from the Swan Brewery and wines from the Swan Valley vineyards round off the evening.

Our room and all hotel was so clean! Like Japanese level clean. Location is great and of course staff is so welcoming and friendly. Room is spacious and bed was comfy! Especially I would like to give my appreciation to one particular staff member named Richard. He goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. And he really cares about guests. Also water refill station is a nice touch! My next trip to Perth I’m definitely choosing Holiday Inn again

Perfect location, great friendly service from the kerb to reception and the restaurant. This hotel is now my preferred stay when visiting Perth, a decade too late but better than never. Even had a high profile NRL identity from Brisbane grace the breakfast area whilst there, he fitted in unobtrusively and was left alone by guests to enjoy his meal.

The hotel is handy for Perth airport. Airport shuttle was great and came to collect us in the middle of the night from our flight which was very much appreciated. Reception manager (Torikul) was cheerful, welcoming and helpful, despite the hour (2.30am) and managed to arrange us a late checkout for the following morning😊

Boutique hotel with only 74 rooms located in a good location & easily accessible from the Perth station. Very basic amenities in the room & bathroom. Restaurant food & wine was good & exceptional! Had two dinners in house but the restaurant is not located within the premises but round the corner from the hotel proper.

Hotel is well situated, conveniently close to Subiaco train station. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Rooms are clean, fresh and well appointed. We only had breakfast once but the quality and service was excellent. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Perth.
