Was thoughtfully designed and equipped and we absolutely loved the in-room dining menu. Bring Vegans, this turned out to be our best option at the hotel.

Modern practical facilities. The best internet in Perth (honestly so hard to get a decent business hotel). Microwave available for reheating meals from the supermarket. Jogging area and gym outside. While the hotel is primarily for university based folk it is not that far from Perth and the bus hub is very close. I'd stay here again if I needed the working facilities.

FAQs about hotels in Perth

Serene as the Swan

Sun-drenched and laidback, Perth is simply a joy to be in. However, the West Australian capital does have tourist attractions, such as the Colonial-era mint, important in the country’s gold industry. East is the WACA, a must-see for cricket fans, and the city is also mad for Aussie Rules football.

The city centre has the historic Government House and Supreme Court, both dwarfed by the ultra-modern skyscrapers a few streets behind. The best skyline view is from leafy King’s Park, near the War Memorial overlooking the Swan River below, named after its black swans. Across the river in Perth Zoo are more native animals including koalas, crocodiles and free-hopping kangaroos.

Boats to the zoo leave from the Barrack Street jetty by a sail-shaped bell tower. Other day trips from Perth include Rottnest Island and Fremantle, down the river in the opposite direction from Perth Airport.

The apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Perth are spread all over this fantastic city, interspersed with restaurants serving specialities such as western rock lobster and chilli mussels. There is also a wealth of bars, many playing the indie music that the city is known for. Local brews from the Swan Brewery and wines from the Swan Valley vineyards round off the evening.

Lovely, clean city.

Lovely, clean city. Friendly people, lots of lovely places to eat and drink. Easy to get around. Public transport free or cheap. Recommend the boat trip to Rottnest island, stunning scenery. The food at the bakery is excellent but don’t hang around or the birds will have the food out of your hands. Kings park is a must, enjoy a drink and take in the view.

In the CBD there is amazing architecture with mix of historic buildings and modern designs, lots of sculptures and statues make it interesting to walk around. The botanical gardens/Kings park are nearby along with the Swan river, and is another excellent walk to do. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and supermarkets nearby. Walking is easy with shared bike/walking paths and the roads aren't to hectic for driving. Recommend walking around the Kings park and botanical gardens.

Perth is a very clean, safe and walkable city to visit.

Perth is a very clean, safe and walkable city to visit. Public transport to the outer suburbs is cheap, and the walk on walk off Cat bus service is free within the CBD area. Numerous sites accessible via the CAT bus include Kings Park, the Bell Tower, Elizabeth Quay, the Perth Mint, Art Art Gallery and Museum. Take a short Ferry ride from Elizabeth Quay across the Swan River to South Perth, then a short walk to the Perth Zoo. So much to see and do within a short walk or bus ride of each other.

Coming from a country regional area, Perth city has so much to offer with unlimited places to see and experience. Shopping centres unlimited. Religious services and churches. Entertainment unlimited, Eateries galore, that also includes a huge variety of cuisines and many eateries cater for those with specific dietary needs. Food at Joondalup resort’s Alcove restaurant was chef quality foods that were top standard and highly recommended! Great staff service, very attentive and efficient. Two Fat Indians. Delicious, authentic food! Cafe food: Paper Avenue, Luca Cafe, great food and service by staff. Google Maps was our efficient navigation method around Perth. Places to visit for kids: Bounce, sci-tec, Perth Zoo, Kings Park, botanical gardens and many more kid friendly places depending on your time and budget.

Rottnest Island with Rottnest Express ferry and sightseeing on island with Quokka Tours - both excellent. St Georges Cathedral - Choral Eucharist with choir 10am Sunday - beautiful experience. WA Museum - world class museum, revamped in 2020. Something for everyone, kids love it, so do grandparents. WA State Library - impressive. Museum of Shipwrecks, Fremantle - unique & excellent. Great gift shop. His Majesty's Theatre - go to a show, or weekday tours to see inside. Magic.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the airport , shopping centres, and across the road from the beautiful swan river with a lovely walkway. The public transport that runs right outside the front door gets you straight into Perth and also down to the Burswood area with all the wonderful parks and cafes. As we stayed longer this trip we had time to enjoy a couple of meals at the restaurant. Huge servings and delicious, highly recommend.

This hotel is in an excellent position with a free bus (running every 10mins) into town directly outside for a 10min journey into the centre of Perth. I loved my room. It had a small very well equipped kitchen, and balcony. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. I loved the garden and pool which overlooked the river.

The hotel is handy for Perth airport. Airport shuttle was great and came to collect us in the middle of the night from our flight which was very much appreciated. Reception manager (Torikul) was cheerful, welcoming and helpful, despite the hour (2.30am) and managed to arrange us a late checkout for the following morning😊
