AustraliaThe staff were amazing. So friendly and kind. We had some staff who were quite new to the industry but they were so lovely and helpful and sweet.
From the moment we drove up to the front we felt welcomed and were treated so well by all the staff.
The facilities were also fantastic, the layout of the room was great, a really comfortable bed, really nice bathroom.
When we got to our room we had 2 single beds instead of a large double bed, so we just rand downstairs and within minutes were given another room, the concierge came up shortly after to make sure we were happy with our new room and apologise for the inconvenience.
We were extremely impressed by the staff at the hotel.
Definitely recommend others to stay there.

Great and comfortable cabin in the most beautiful setting. So peaceful. Lovely sunset over the lake and waking up to the sound of the Kookaburra and other birds. Great facilities for the children. We only stayed the 1 night on our road trip up the coast but all said we wish we could have stayed a few more nights.

The room is well stocked and very clean.
Being walking distance to the surf club and surf patrolled beach is awesome.
The smart TV in the accommodation made it easy to use our log in for the boys to watch Netflix and Youtube without having to stream

The room was excellent a good size, with a desk, small table and three chairs. The biggest bonus was a sink for washing dishes, not the bathroom basin! The bathroom is a good size with a long vanity bench ideal for washbags, cosmetics and a place for clothes when you come out of the shower.

Great room looking directly out to the beach. Beautiful modern clean room and loved the little balcony to sit and have morning coffee. Nothing better than going to sleep with the sound of the ocean.

We were on a visit to family and used to live at Bateau Bay.
We were on a visit to family and used to live at Bateau Bay. It is a beautiful beach and has a great child friendly park with pelican feeding.
The only negative is the council do not upkeep the roads and potholes abound!

Luxurious yet had all the comforts of home. Excellent clean room and great size. Fantastic hotel facilites like filtered water near the lift to fill up your bottle before heading out. A good variety of affordable and delicious food at the restaurants and bars. Central location with hotel parking on site. Bedding was like sleeping on a cloud. Loved the modern take of Art Deco interior design of the property. Pool was a good slighty warm temperautre even for Winter and the Sauna greatly appreciated to warm up after the swim. Swim up bar in the pool and also a shallow section in the pool to be able to lay in the water. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Check in/out easy. Will stay again - thoroughly recommend this property!

Apartment is located on the top of a steep hill - if you are traveling with little ones or have issues with your knees this might not be an ideal location for you.
Parking is on the street and is very limited.
Able to see the ocean from the balcony and local birds will greet you on the balcony looking for a snack.
If walking at night - street lighting is poor and the street is narrow, so be mindful of traffic.

The trip was a family gathering, and lovely to visit Soldiers Beach, Norah Head and Wyong. Enjoyed takeaway from Alda's Pizza - delicious, an evening meal at Beachcomber Hotel - great venue, great food, well priced. And a great family gathering at Club Wyong - great venue, great staff, great food.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very quiet location, and handy to all the main shops. Great meal at the upmarket and recently renovated pub only 50 metres walk. No need for car, you just walk to the pub, the supermarket, takeaways, pharmacy and much more. Petrol station right next door.
The staff were absolutely amazing.
The rooms were wonderfully clean, and we loved the shower.
We will definitely stay at this place again.
I wish we had more days to spend in the area as this was a marvelous accommodation.

The resort was a lovely place to stay.
The resort was a lovely place to stay. Room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable bed. Great shower too. The area is really pretty with the beautiful beach only a few meters walk across the street from the resort The area had everything you need literally within a 5 minute walk away from the accomodation including lovely cafes, great restaurants for all food preferances and price ranges and club and hotel dining and entertainment. We were happy to find a well stocked IGA and bottle shop for our picnic needs. There is even a movie theater close by. Great stay in Ettalong. Thank you Ettalong Beach Resort :)
