Breakfast was good and the staff was flexible and accommodating. The standard included breakfast is quite large for one and I couldn't finish it so on subsequent days I asked for coffee, two croissants and an omelet and was charged only for that amount of food. The hotel is also dog friendly which was great as I was only in town for a limited period of time to tend to some matters regarding getting my dog back to the states.
Some people left reviews complaining about the lack of privacy of the pool but the pictures are pretty straightforward in showing the pool at the center of the rooms. The staff is accommodating and I appreciate that they offer laundry services and shuttle services to the airport. Would definitely stay again.

I liked how homey it felt. I was given a free upgrade and had a lovely spacious room. I like the overall vibe of the house, with a terrace where had breakfast and hang out after dinner. The owner Andrea, was also very hospitable. The staff were all polite and very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend staying at the Chez Giuliana. Lesh the Dog and Pikiloo the Cat were also very welcoming and are cute addition to the team!

The city is much cleaner and well kept than I expected.
The city is much cleaner and well kept than I expected. The roads are very well preserved. Traffic is sometimes hard but much better than in other African or world capitals. Drivers are quite polite actually. Nice restaurants and food. People are generally calm and friendly. FESPACO is a must for anyone who loves cinema - you will find an amazing talent from all over Africa there. The Sculpture Garden is unbelievably rich an interesting in content - over 500 authors on a global scale. The Museum of History is small but interesting. The Artisanal Market is full of very well made souvenirs. I needed a pharmacy and was nicely surprised that everything I was looking for could be found there at decent prices.

Better if you are here with a small group. Ring on your own here isn’t great mainly due to the street sellers. But that’s what you would expect. I came to stay for 1 night and move on to my next destination but ended up staying a week due to flight complications. Fine for biusness
