He gave me all of the information I needed to get in myself. It was safe and easy, even in the middle of the night. Would have loved to try to walk the next morning because it is so close (even if Google Maps says it isn't!), but my timing didn't work out. Space was clean and there was a fan - thank goodness!

It was actually a very comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful. I timed it, and it took 15 min to walk to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alajuela has cool nights, so lack of AC was not a problem. Great budget option for late arrivals or early morning departures.
