The hotel is quite close to Hamburg Airport — it takes just over 10 minutes following the navigation. When I asked the staff for some hot water, they brought out an electric kettle, which solved the problem nicely.

Everything was perfect. Pretty flexible check-in. The distance from city centre is around 6 or 7 km, but there is U-bahn station near the hotel. 5 minutes walk to Lidl, Kaufland, McDonalds or Domino's so eating is not an issue at all.
Rooms were spacious, everything was clean, hotel has towels and private bathroom is sufficient. We also really appreciated a big table where we could easily eat all the stuff we bought.
We (group of three people) paid 240 euros for 2 nights and we got big room with actually 5 beds so we were really satisfied.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone :)
*Also perfect for people coming to Hamburg by plane, the hotel is 20 minutes walk from the airport and the path there is suitable for suitcases as well.

Amazing stay for our family ( 2 adults and 2 babies under 4) ! The flight delayed and we were still waited till midnight to check in. Excellent location - 5 min drive from airport. Our room was upgraded what was an amazing surprise. Excellent tasty breakfast with great coffee. Really recommend to book it.

It is located 5 miles (8.5 kilometres) from the city centre in the Fuhlsbüttel quarter of Hamburg. Passengers can easily travel to/from Hamburg’s Hauptbahnhof (central railway station) on the S1 S-Bahn (Metro), with trains departing every 10 minutes. Another option is to take the U1 U-Bahn (underground rail) to Ohlsdorf, a junction station for U-Bahn and S-Bahn lines. From there, the S1 operates directly to Hamburg Airport.

Hamburg has so much potential - it could be a cute harbor city. Unfortunately, so much of that potential is wasted. The city center looks dilapidated and dirty. A lot of the historical buildings in the center near the Rathaus have scaffolding, yet no one is working on them... The scaffolding is just there as scenery, I guess. To make matters worse, the whole German train system is a shambles, so you can't count on get anywhere around Hamburg in time. That really complicates the journey to and from Hamburg, so it's a question if it's even worth going there at all.

Staying in the boheme area of Sternschanze one get a less polished view of Hamburg. It's a very nice neighbourhood with a lot of cute small shops. Even though Hamburg is a big city, the different parts of the city makes it seem smaller and the U/S-bahn is really easy to take anywhere.

We have stayed here before and it is a great option for the Hamburg Airport. We stayed here two nights and caught the S-Bahn from the airport into the city for our day’s sightseeing. The hotel itself offers exactly what it says on its website and the rooms are clean and staff very friendly and helpful. A bus to the airport is just around the corner or, as we have done, very easy to walk.
