I rate this Hotel very highly because it provides great value. It is an older hotel so some of the facilities reflect this - so if you want a modern fancy hotel with Gym etc then don't go here - but if you are looking for a very clean, comfortable room then this is the place. We stayed for 4 nights and it was a pleasure to return to after a day of activities. Their breakfast is very satisfying. The hotel is also very quiet despite being close to the airport - in your room you do not hear any noise. They are very close to bus and train stops - so it is so easy to get around without a car.

This hotel is next to the Hamburg airport and allows check in at 1 pm. It is a small, clean, easy spot to rest up after your flight, or to stay before an early morning one. The rooms are small, parking is easy, staff will get you a taxi or whatever you need. There are planes overhead so it's not for a long term stay.

Amazing stay for our family ( 2 adults and 2 babies under 4) ! The flight delayed and we were still waited till midnight to check in. Excellent location - 5 min drive from airport. Our room was upgraded what was an amazing surprise. Excellent tasty breakfast with great coffee. Really recommend to book it.

Known in Germany as ‘Flughafen Hamburg’, Hamburg Airport sees over 16 million travellers pass through its gates every year. It is located 5 miles (8.5 kilometres) from the city centre in the Fuhlsbüttel quarter of Hamburg. Passengers can easily travel to/from Hamburg’s Hauptbahnhof (central railway station) on the S1 S-Bahn (Metro), with trains departing every 10 minutes. Another option is to take the U1 U-Bahn (underground rail) to Ohlsdorf, a junction station for U-Bahn and S-Bahn lines. From there, the S1 operates directly to Hamburg Airport.

Hamburg is just a wonderful city.
Hamburg is just a wonderful city. We were lucky and enjoyed sunshine during our entire stay. There is no City in the world which I know that beats Hamburg when the sun shines during spring time.
The lake, the Alster and the Elbe. Cuisine is excellent, Shopping is great.
Prices are not elevated!.
We noted that apparently Restaurants struggle to find good waiters...

Do not stay here it’s not safe, I turned up and there was no parking despite there being some stated when booking. Police blue lighting around the area, I was told to park in a public car park who knows where! I stood for 20 minutes before this in reception with no staff present.

The transport system is very easy. Tube from the airport into town and everything to see within walking distance. Ours was a short pre cruise stay and we managed to get around for 2 days but could have stayed longer.

We have stayed here before and it is a great option for the Hamburg Airport. We stayed here two nights and caught the S-Bahn from the airport into the city for our day’s sightseeing. The hotel itself offers exactly what it says on its website and the rooms are clean and staff very friendly and helpful. A bus to the airport is just around the corner or, as we have done, very easy to walk.
