MaltaStaff were great and super friendly, all inclusive restaurants were good and not limited to certain menu items (but no buffet option in the evenings), and we were given a free upgrade to a 4 bedroom villa when we arrived which was a very nice surprise! As a European, I was a bit wary of the expectancy around tipping so we took lots of low denomination USD and tipped servers at all bars/restaurants, cleaning staff etc., but I never once got a sense that it was expected and a few dollars was always gratefully received.
The golf facilities were excellent and the courses were in great condition. You must take a caddie on Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore (caddie paid directly in cash) but there was no pressure to use one on the Links. My son and I did question some of the guy's reads on the greens though... TotD was visually stunning although as mid/high handicappers, we found it a lot easier than the Dye Fore course, with the latter played over rolling cliffs with big drop offs around most greens so accuracy from the (wide) fairways was important

Dominican RepublicI had a good stay overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and met most of my expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The room was decent nothing particularly luxurious, but everything worked and it felt well-maintained.
The location was convenient, which made getting around easy. While there weren’t any standout “wow” moments, there also weren’t any major issues.
Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re looking for a reliable and comfortable place to stay, just don’t expect anything overly special.

Czech RepublicWe changed several accommodations in 10 days, but this was the best of all. "Pepinka" is the nicest person we have met. She takes excellent care of the cleanliness and the accommodations, she cleans CONSTANTLY and I must say that you could even mop the floor there! The water was warm, the beds very spacious and comfortable, air conditioning..quiet surroundings. We would highly recommend Dal and wish you all the best!

The food was plentiful, good variety and the buffet was kept very clean.
The pool was large and accessible to the handicapped. There were plenty of lounge chairs, but it could use regular chairs for seniors or disabled persons with limited mobility.

A relaxed beach town, and major step-off point for trips to Saona Island. The place is buzzing at the start and end of the day when island trips depart and return, but otherwise it's relaxed and friendly. Plenty of places to eat and drink at night. Overall, far more liberty to wander and take trips than if you're stuck at a resort :-)

The plase is nice and cozy .The beach is nice washed by the Caribbean Sea, but we were not lucky, there were big waves and some grass.
The beach is coral so it is very inconvenient to go into the water with a wave

The weather, beach and tranquility were amazing.
The weather, beach and tranquility were amazing. Its about 1 hour 10 mins from Punta Cana airport. We stayed at Bahia Principe Escape La Romana. I highly recommend it. Only downfall is the sea water has a lot of jellyfish. Everybody that goes into water got stung. Simple fix is the lifeguards has vinegar and that helps a lot.

It's a quaint little town.
It's a quaint little town. All the restaurants are Italian or pizzerias. They were fair to good. The stores are interesting. It is a small village. We enjoyed exploring it, but there's not a huge amount there besides the souvenir shops, a few clothing stores, a few bars, a few coffee shops, and a few restaurants.

Very nice environment, we were in an apartment,
which is located together in the hotel area.
It is possible to use all services for payment in hotels.
It is close to the swimming pools and three of them are filled with sea water.
The fourth is freshwater.
Nice umbrellas, a sufficient number of sunbeds on a sandy base.
Since the hotel is on a rock, there is no classic sandy beach and the entrance to the sea is via stairs. However, this does not detract from the attractiveness.
Parking outside the building is charged 24 hours a day.

The hotel was affordable and clean, and the breakfast was good. However, when getting around, avoid taking a taxi arranged by the front desk—Uber is much cheaper. The front desk also suggested we go to the mall for dinner and made it sound like it was the only option, but the mall didn’t have any good food. We ended up taking an Uber to the beach instead, which worked out much better.
