Security was strong, which made me feel that the neighborhood maybe a problem. During the day, the neighborhood is busy, but clears out totally at night. The hotel itself was clean and of good value. The staff was helpful.

Every part of this town we drove through was filthy and...
Every part of this town we drove through was filthy and trash was everywhere. Much worse than what is normal for the area/country. We were warned by our host not to go out after 10pm. I am 6 ft 190lbs., my buddy is 6ft.3" and we were both uncomfortable walking to a restaurant during the evening, before the sun even set. For reference, I have been to about 50 countries all over the world and have rarely felt unsafe like this or seen such a filthy city with trash piled all over the sidewalks, everywhere. Disgusting. I will not go anywhere near this city again.
