Fantastic way to end a busy trip through Spain. This property is out of town in the countryside, close to small towns with medieval ruins and wineries to visit. Great place to relax before flying out of Barcelona (airport is an easy drive in less than an hour).

The property was clean, spacious, and well equipped. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the decor of the entire apartment. The location was an easy walk to the city center. Easy check in and communication too!

A very short walk from excellent underground parking in Placa Prim and an excellent welcome from staff. The room was absolutely perfect ( and we are fussy), room 101 was smart, clean and very comfortable, what amazing value for money. Would live here if this was allowed haha.

We enjoyed the vermouth museum and its restaurant, we were able to visit a house whose architecture was in perfect condition also an old psychiatric hospital of the same era and built by the same local architect.
The younger members of our party enjoyed the shopping. It is s quaint town.

Friendly staff on reception. Easy check in and check out. Communication via hotel on WhatsApp before my arrival which meant I could check in late at night due to my flight arriving late in the evening. Shower gel and a bottle of water were provided in the room which was a nice surprise for a budget hotel. Perfect for what I needed - a stopover before moving to my next location.

La Pineda offers lovely views on a huge harbour.
La Pineda offers lovely views on a huge harbour. Sorry for the irony. Furthermore it's quite a tacky place with lots of cheap, lousy shops. The restaurants were quite good, although there aren't many of them that look nice as well. Currently they are remodelling the boardwalk, so that's a downside as well.
The beaches are lovely though! Nice sandy, wide beaches.

I like Salou because it's very family focoused and feels very safe.
But it is better in the warmer months ,a lot of shops and cafes and bars are closed in the winter.
I have come in the spring and summer and it's buzzin. But I think it's only good in the winter if you want a very quiet restful vocation.

Tarragona is a lovely city with lots to see.
Tarragona is a lovely city with lots to see. It's very walkable - you do not need a car. There are lots of Roman remains you can explore and museums. There are many squares with restaurants and cafes to while away time with a drink or meal. There are some really excellent fish restaurants near the fisherman's port a short walk from the centre. There are lots of small independent shops scattered throughout the old town and new town. There are several beaches, one right in the town centre and others within a short walk. The human tower building has to be seen, often outside the cathedral in the summer on a Sunday. The Cathedral its self is lovely with very attractive gardens. Reus is a short drive away or you can get there by train (10/15 mins) here is the Gaudi centre and the most beautiful art nouveau house in the main square. Port Adventura theme park is 10 mins on the train with 3 parks to explore

Nice traditional small spanish city, worth visiting in one day. There are only 5 Gaudi spots so stating to be the Gaudi city is a bit overrated. Still, the modernista buildings are well kept and really nice.

Lovely place to stay, especially couples, very comfy & clean, fabulous food (half board). Direct access to beach which was great. Sea view balcony was lovely. Nice pool for lounging also. La Pineda is very clean, safe area. Plenty of shops to browse through with restaurants & bars to sample also. Very close to Salou & Tarragona with regular buses to both towns from outside hotel.

Beautiful, well kept, clean and tidy.
Beautiful, well kept, clean and tidy. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Though we didn't access the entertainment there was clearly plenty to do down on the beach, massive inflatable course and parasailing etc. Prices were very reasonable even on the front and didn't feel like we overpaid for anything, except maybe pick and mix sweets but that's to be expected.
The transport system was exceptional, with buses ever 20 mins at great prices.

Interesting small city - we like small cities - with lots to see, a nice vibe and great restaurant/cafe/bar options. A very Spanish feel, which was great. The old town is delightful. We also did day trips to Reus and Cambrils, both worth visiting.

Reus is a very charming, unspoilt, laid-back Spanish city in the Catalan region. It really is for those who want to see Spain how it was before tourism changed things in so many other cities. It’s narrow, cobbled, uncrowded streets that wind their way in all directions really are a pleasure to walk. It has plenty of bars and restaurants to give everybody a good selection and choice, but all in a very relaxing atmosphere. Reus is Spain as it was, not how most of it city's are now.
