From other reviews I saw, I was worried about possible queue at check-in but surprisingly we only met one person ahead of us.
Dinner and breakfast buffet were okay for transit purposes.

RwandaThis is a gem: very close to the airport. Huge apartment with two bedrooms + three bathrooms. Host gave me a local SIM card which came in really handy and I liked all facilities. It was great to be able to cook at the apartment and complementary water, coffee and tea was available too. Secure and modern place. Highly recommended.

Finfinnee (Addis Ababa) is a beautiful place to visit! It is surrounded by humble lovely Oromos who love and respect people! You may encounter hopeless robbers occasionally, but in most part Finfinnee is save for Tourists and visitors. Food is amazing, and their Machiato is special.

I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far.
I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far. Located a little southwest of Addis Ababa, the area is incredibly safe and well-maintained. The transportation is also convenient, with easy access to public transit and major roads. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to stay here during my visit and would highly recommend this neighbourhood to others.

I was surprised to find out that massage is only allowed for one person the second person has to pay. Most surprisingly was that you are allowed for only one massage per stay regardless how many days you stay at the lodge.

People are unfriendly
You basically doing them a favor that you are visiting their country.
As soon as you request something unusual, they all of a sudden don't speak or pretend not to understand English.
Ethiopian Airlines is a great carrier, but that's where it ends.
Addis airport is suitable for a transit airport.
Most likely not going to visit Ethiopia. There are many other countries worth spending your money in, such as Tanzania, Kenya, etc

City is developing very fast.
City is developing very fast. Great change compared to 10 years ago. Bole road, Airport road they look like European now. Well aside the main roads, there is a lot to be improved. Addis is a safe city. You can walk night time, a lot of bars, restaurants. Food is delicious.
