The hotel is not located right by the lake, as tourists visiting Bahir Dar might expect, but its many positive qualities more than make up for this. Plenty of tuk-tuks are available just outside the hotel and will take you anywhere for a very modest fare. The staff are efficient, friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious and the standard of cleanliness is excellent. The hotel manager is highly capable: he keeps his team motivated and is always friendly and approachable with guests.
