This is a perfectly located, fully equipped, comfortable, wonderfully clean, peaceful apartment. I'm sorry we could only spend two days here on our way north, we'd love to come back anytime! Check-in was easy, the host was very-very nice. Everything was perfect! I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation! 🥰

The property was spacious and comfortable, while being walking distance to LAB/LUT University. Upon entry to the house after a long day of travelling, the AC unit was on a warm setting and very nice to walk into. It was amazing value for money and communication with the host was seamless and easy. The sauna was a lovely touch and great for the snowy winter season. The sofa was very comfortable also. The provided bedding was an extra €15, however was very comfortable and fantastic value for money. Overall we enjoyed our time and will happily be back again!

The rooms, breakfast, location of the accommodation, and generally the facility is excellent. We appreciated the stay very much and in fact, when they learned that we are checking out 5:30AM, they offered take away breakfast. Very nice.
Everything worked just as expected. The room was nice and quiet, the location was very convenient, the price was good and the hot shower was exceptionally nice.

The Locals were friendly and being from Australia, it was surprising how many spoke English. It was disappointing as a tourist that early morning cafe's were not available and Cappuccinos haven't really taken off in Lappeeranta city yet. However, there were a few I found. The nicest Cafe by far was on the Harbour Called "Satamatie 6" the vibe was amazing and the service matched. I would have loved to stay longer to see the colour of the trees and plant after the weather warmed up. On the Other Hand, it was a privilege to see the harbour frozen up still, a site we do not get to see in Australia.

Taipalsaari was one of the highlights of our cycling trip around Lake Saimaa. The scenery was beautiful, with peaceful roads, forests, and stunning lake views almost everywhere we went. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy nature, and take in the Finnish summer. We especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing the area felt. We would definitely love to come back and explore even more.

I generally know and like Lappeenranta - it is a nice town to stay in and to both work and enjoy. Located in the beautiful Finnish nature and at the coas of Saimaa lake. Moreover, the place is good as a base for journeys to the nearby attractions as well as e.g. for shopping.

In Lappeenranta, we particularly liked the harbor and the fortress. Otherwise, we mainly used the city as a starting point for trips and hikes along the shores of Lake Saimaa. Lappeenranta is ideally located for this. The environment is really beautiful.
