We loved staying at Wästinn! We were greeted by the friendly host who gave us some recommendations for the rainy day and in the evening, we spent time in the authentic finnish sauna. The room was decorated with a lot of love and you could tell that a lot of thought goes into making the guests feel right at home. Can highly recommend!

It was a wonderful experience! The Best Chalet in Rovaniemi! And the food was amazing! Everything was just luxury! And also the Staff was so so friendly! We loved it there!!

Charming Hotel, very friendly hosts, we felt welcome.

Could not fault this stay at all! We did a lot of research of cabins/igloos in the area and this came out top for the price, location and the fact you get a private bathroom. Everything felt brand new, the underfloor heating in the bathroom was so cosy and we never felt cold at all. The breakfast was delivered to our cabin every morning and was plenty selection of yoghurt, pastries, juice, fruit and sandwiches. The check in and checkout was seamless with us arriving at 9pm and got straight to our chalet with a code to the door meant no need for a key. We had a tv in the room with YouTube and Netflix and the wifi was speedy and easy to connect to. I would highly recommend hiring a car if you’re going to stay here as it’s quite remote and the public transport is not very accessible so you would have to rely on taxi’s. But the car park is free and the drive from Rovaniemi and the airport is very easy. The perks of it being remote meant there is no light pollution and the main lights outside are turned off at 9pm meaning it’s even better conditions for viewing the northern lights. We were soooo lucky to see the aurora on our last night from our bed!!! It was absolutely amazing and it paid off not paying for a tour to be out in the cold all night trying to chase them, when we could see them in our pj’s from the warm bed. I’ve already recommended this stay to family and friends as it was a highlight of an already very memorable trip. 10/10 perfect stay.

The glass igloo was cozy and well designed, and the atmosphere felt special. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the Arctic vibe.

It’s a very nice igloo with sufficient space and excellent facilities! Personal suana and hot tub, which you don’t have to share with others. Breakfast delivered to your igloo with excellent customer service.

The resort is absolutely magical and exactly what I envisioned when booking our trip. The staff were amazing and even helped us with a transfer from the postmaster hotel to our cabin ! So great. The cabins are modern, cosy and stylish. We had a great time celebrating a 30th Birthday! Thanks

Perfectly located to visit Helsinki by feet, very nice rooms with high quality furniture, fantastic breakfast, very kind staff! Hotel parking (needs to be booked).

This Resort was absolutely amazing! From the start, the service was exceptional — friendly, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. The reindeer meat was a real highlight; it was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The breakfast spread was fresh, with local ingredients that really gave us a taste of the region’s flavors. We loved how traditional the dinner menu was, showcasing local dishes that felt authentic and full of character. The service throughout the entire experience was kind and professional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and taken care of. Booking the tour was quick and easy, and everything was meticulously planned, and it was clear they put a lot of effort into organizing every detail. One of the best parts was meeting the huskies and reindeers truly an unforgettable experience! Getting up close to the animals, learning about their care, and even having a chance to interact with them made the whole trip even more special. The entire experience was truly magical, and we’re so glad we chose this tour. Overall, it was a flawless experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to explore this incredible region.
