Really enjoyed our week in Levi.

Really enjoyed our week in Levi. Nice size town with plenty of really good restaurants. Food is not cheap but you do get very good quality food. Ate in a different restaurant every night and had no bad meal all week. Very relaxed atmosphere everywhere. Ski buses run every 15 mins to South Point. Our skiing was limited for a few days due to temperatures of -37 (leather mittens, ski liners and hand & toe warmers & balaclavas were a life saver) and our reindeer trips had to be rearranged because of it but still had a great week. Booked our husky & reindeer trips from Artic Circle Snow Mobile Park. Can walk there from the town and they then bus you out 15 mins away.

Please review the weather before going, during January 5–10 in Levi it was extremely cold (−30°C to −38°C), which can significantly affect plans and the overall experience. Tours are also expensive. Do not spend money on Northern Lights tours before arriving—there are apps that track Northern Lights solar activity. When there is a good chance to see them, you can rent a car or book a tour the same day. Many tours are available for same-day booking. If you are traveling without children, I do not recommend Santa Park, as it is not worth the money.

Minus the weather ( -35 Deg C ) , Levi is a lovely town with lots of outdoor activities. Really enjoy the the county side , the Husky and Reindeer rides , Aurora hunting on snow mobil, skiing and just strolling around the town in winter is just amazing. Really nice white snowy town in the winter. Aside of the extreme weather , LEVI is a perfect holiday breakaway. Suggest not to go in Jan , maybe close to spring time in April or early MAY , where you can still enjoy the beautiful white snowy environment and do the more outdoor activities.

A great locations for families with everything very central,...

A great locations for families with everything very central, I recommend using Lovimainas for skidoo tours and reindeer and huskie experience. Central Pizza has very good Pizzas and a wide selection. For self catering the supermarket is very well stocked with local and international products. Beware of the 2100 hrs rule for buying alcohol over 2.5% from supermarkets. Great little place, recommended

Great mix of ski and other outdoor/adventure activities.

Great mix of ski and other outdoor/adventure activities. We were there during a very busy time period but didn’t find the area too congested - the only places we ran into a bit of inconvenience due to crowds were in the main village parking areas, the grocery, and we were glad we had dinner reservations to some of the more formal dining options which seemed to be pretty booked up. We’d love to visit Levi again. Was a pleasant surprise.

All the different slope points (South Point, West Point,...

All the different slope points (South Point, West Point, Zero Point, etc) are close enough to each other to do more than one each day. Zero Point has lots of excellent restaurants and shops. Shops in other nearby areas close quite early, also gas stations.

This is a great apartment close to the centre of Levi and really close to the ski slope, which is what we mostly came for. It was well appointed with comfy beds, a massive bathroom with a lovely sauna, a washing machine, clothes and boot airing cupboard, dishwasher, TV, a covered balcony and a good sized dining table. The apartment was easy to get into and on the first floor, which was easy to do by stairs or with the lift. There was a boot room, where we could store our bags after we checked out. The heating was spot on and it was very clean.

Our stay at Reindeer Manor in Levi was absolutely wonderful. The landscape is truly magical – peaceful, snowy, and exactly what you imagine Lapland to be. The igloo accommodation was amazing and very cozy, making the experience feel unique and special. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and seeing reindeer right behind the house was an unforgettable highlight. Everything was beautiful and well taken care of, and the atmosphere felt calm and authentic.

Great accommodation as a ski base property. Close to front slopes & has a central location in Sirrka, Levi so could walk everywhere. Not sure about in ski boots though, we drove to South slopes. Supermarket right on doorstep which was great. Bed super comfortable & very cosy in the loft. It is small but very sufficient. Drying cabinet was ace. Very clean.

The hotel is located in a beautiful position that allows you to see Levi's city centre. The breakfast is excellent. You can choose among different products. For dinner, I tried a la carte menù in the hotel restaurant. I like the quality of the food offered. The room is well-equipped and with a view of the mountains.
