Located 750 metres from the main ski lift, Lapland Hotels Sirkantähti is located in Levi Ski Village and offers traditional Lapland cuisine and rooms with private saunas. The room was clean and modern, unlike some reviewers have said, maybe they are updating the rooms? The sauna in the bathroom was excellent. Quiet, nice atmosphere, just across the street from downtown.

Conveniently located in the heart of Levi Ski Resort, Hotel Hullu Poro offers free Wi-Fi and plenty of leisure and relaxation facilities. Sirkka village centre is within 5 minutes’ walk. Its close to the center in a great location with free parking and the decoration inside and out was beautiful makes you feel the christmas spirit. Also the jacuzzi, the sauna and the 4 degrees pool was great.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Levi Fell’s ski slopes, this hotel features Spa Water World which includes pools and saunas. It also has an indoor playing area for children, a gym and a day spa. Upgraded the room for free without us asking for it. I forgot my mobile phone at the breakfast, and the staff brought it to our room. Excellent pizza restaurant in the hotel. Amazing gym.

Lovely little ski village.
Lovely little ski village. Spa wellness centre went down a treat after a long day on the slopes, everything close by such as supermarkets, pharmacy etc. Loved South point for skiing with kids, only a short bus journey away. Really enjoyed our time there.

Picturesque location with a good variety of activities and variety of slopes for downhill skiing. We’ve been fortunate enough to see the Aurora Borealis many times from Levi. The air is fresh and the welcome warm. Highly recommended

Levi is not a huge place but to me falls into the category...
Levi is not a huge place but to me falls into the category of 'just right'. It has everything you need for a self catering holiday (supermarkets, petrol stations, eating places, etc.). The local facilities are terrific with a pretty good bus service, taxis in abundance, a great information centre, lots of businesses offering different adventures from husky rides, reindeer farms (rides), skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, lots of long walks, fantastic scenery and more (I believe there is a bowling somewhere in town). We don't often go back to the same place twice but this is one place we would definitely try again.

The house is amazing for families.
The house is amazing for families. The view is fantastic and mind blowing. At a lake with lots of trees. We had much snow so in the huge garden our kids and teenagers played for hours. Enough equipment we where able to use. Host is fantastic and they prepared a welcome package and great tips for what we could do. We loved the fireplace at the cozy huge living room. We have to come back because we did not see the Northern Lights due to the clouds. This vila is 3 min drive from Skiresort Levi and 5 min drive from Levi village. Supermarket on walking distance.

Levi has changed so much in the last 20 years from a quiet idyllic retreat where you always felt extremely valued to now. Now it feels a little less welcoming and a little more tourist - grab - your money venue. For example you can buy local tourist bits cheaper at Helsinki airport than you can at the resort these days. The excursions used to have a family feel where you’d be visiting local families for reindeer or husky experiences - now the bigger corporates have moved in and are taking over. Santa Claus - good - but when you have young children they expect a small gift and for the price you’d think they could at least give you a chocolate or something. Would I recommend - yes but this is the third time we have been over a twenty year period and you get less for your money these days.

Snowmobile safari - excellent.
Snowmobile safari - excellent. Visit to the Elves Village and Santa Claus - an excellent 3 hours. Husky safari and Reindeer safari - both very good although the husky sled ride is perhaps a bit faster and more exciting. Levi is a really nice town with lots of restaurants albeit it's quite pricey. We were also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from outside the hotel!

very friendly staff, great location and very spacious and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurants that are inside the hotel, so we didn’t need to go out in -20°. We were very lucky with our stay during March and got to see the Northern Lights already on our first night, from the comfort of our own balcony. Even though the hotel is near the slopes, the Aurora lights were super strong. the picture attached is from that night. It’s very near to the zero point slopes and they offered us ski storage.

The studios are warm and cosy and conveniently located for the frozen lake/snowmobile hire/slopes/supermarket and restaurants. We were very lucky to see the Aurora Borealis about 3 times this trip as the sky was so clear.

It was amazing. Lapland is quite touristic and it was so special to find this little paradise where you feel alone in the arctic. Angie and Paul are amazing hosts: everything is so qualitative from the bed linen to the soap. The breakfast is fantastic. If you never considered going to Lapland you should just go to visit FoxFires!

Excellent location inside a reindeer farm away from the Levi town. Great for viewing Northern Lights if the sky is clear. The farm has cross country ski tracks, walking paths, snowmobile and reindeer sledges. Warm host and a very cozy and traditional ambience.
