Good place for a staycation. Everything was good but not brilliant. It was my first time in the pool and sauna area and it was small disappointment. Sauna was small and there were no jacuzzis, the pool was barely warm enough for winter time swimming and there's no ceiling in the area. The breakfast was ok but I was expecting maybe a bit more.

Scratch beneath the small-town surface of Helsinki and you will find a cosmopolitan metropolis buzzing with a lively attitude and plenty of excitement. The architecture in Helsinki is amazing, a brilliant blend of time and influence. We really enjoyed the leikaloola (play cave) the kids ran around to their hearts content for hours. It was really easy to get around on the trams.

Small walkable city and easy reach to most of the attractions! Can't miss the Christmas Market at Senate Square with good music and plentiful of stalls. The Children's Town at the city museum was a good time to kill with kids too!

Nice to visit but prepare yourself for the cold if you go during the winter.
I had so much clothes on and still very cold.
City is very clean and smart/posh. There are a lot of architectural features to see and most places/museums are free, which is a great plus.
People however can be rude and uncivil.
Only place we found nice people was at the airport!
Food is also way more expensive than rest of Europe, so make sure you come prepared to spend a lot on food.
Despite that, the food was very nice!

Helsinki was a beautiful city to spend some time!
Helsinki was a beautiful city to spend some time! Would definitely go back given the chance. Food options and choice were plentiful, and we enjoyed a fantastic meal at Shelter restaurant. I'd recommend anyone include this if you enjoy an elevated dining experience.
We walked everywhere (except when visiting the Loyly sauna - which I would highly recommend or when catching the ferry across to Tallinn as the terminal was a little to far to do this early / late in the day)

Very nice and modern hotel. The stuff is very nice (especially the young guy with blond hair on the reception), no wait at the reception. Room was spacious, clean and sound proof. The location is also great, just a short walk to the city center with lots of great cafes (for all the cat lovers there is cat cafe just few steps down the street ;) )and a market right next to the hotel. Overall great value for money :)
The cheapest indeed 😀 the only thing bit away from the City center but very well connected. For me it's okay I like to walk and was near to Sompasauna, where I went a couple of times.
The reception was very kind. And the place is warm and clean. I like it!
Location a bit outside of city center, but the tram stop is directly in front of the hotel, and you could also walk to the city centre (20-30 min walk). Room was clean, very comfortable bed, good breakfast and helpful staff
Great location, delicious breakfast and very nice staff.
Close to city center and main tourist attractions. Great communication with public transport. Quiet and lovely area surrounding hotel.
