No tea or coffee facilities in room.Room ok shower ok beds too small. All in all, adequate for a hostel but as hotels go this was overpriced and inadequate. Hygiene at breakfast questionable. Make SURE you complete ALL of the pre-arrival details after booking. You need to register a copy of your passport and a facial photo in order to get the code for entry. There is VERY little in the area around the facility. It's on a major road in an industrial area -- all supporting airport operations. However, there IS a golden nugget. A 5-minute walk will find you at a cafe run by a nice guy from Iraq. They have a buffet but you can also get food to go. It's very nice and very fairly priced. Great location near the airport for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy but reasonable. Price was fair. Dinner in the Bistro was OK, steak was good but expensive, as expected in a hotel. I found it concerning that glass, glasses were in the bathroom with a tile floor and marble countertops. One slip and it could be a dangerous mess. They were just sitting on the counter, clean but not wrapped in any sustainable, sanitary packaging. Reusable - Yes but Best Choice - not sure. Don't miss breakfast. Huge selection of great foods. My dinner experience was extremely over priced and not good. Breakfast was slightly better. I had no complaints about the room or the service. Generally this was a good place to stay when traveling. The signage to the hotel was very confusing.

There are shuttle buses to Vantaa Airort from early morning to late night. It was so convenient. The sauna at the grand floor made me relaxing a lot. As our family was totally disappointed with other Scandic hotel last year, we did not expect a lot. But this Vantaa experience gives us better impression about Scandic hotels.
