Everything in the hotel was great, nice staff, quiet clean place to sleep,breakfast and bathroom.Please expand to other airports, lots of people who fly at ridiculous hours and only spend a few hours on layover will appreciate it. And personally the Japanese toilet with bidet and heated seat is just top notch.

A great place if you have an early flight. Bus nr 22 stops in front of the hotel and you can get to the airport in a couple of minutes. It's also great that you can get a very early breakfast - with many nice drink and food choices.

As someone from Tallinn, I loved Riga.

As someone from Tallinn, I loved Riga. Four days weren't enough; I wanted to stay 15 days to fully experience it, create my own routine, sit in the wonderful parks and read books, and hang out in its lovely cafes. It's truly a magnificent city, and in my opinion, Riga is the warmest and sweetest of the Baltic capitals.

Great Location: Riga city center is very nice with plenty of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and lovely places to sit and relax. Important Note on Alcohol: Be aware that drinking alcohol in public places or walking around with an open beer bottle is strictly prohibited. Finding this out on the spot was a bit of a downside, as you are limited strictly to restaurants, bars, and their outdoor terraces—and beer in the city center isn't exactly cheap!

Riga is worth visiting.

Riga is worth visiting. Not only because it's beautyfull architecture, the cleaningness, the easy going flair or the interesting food and activities choices. It is most because of it's people. They are very friendly, easy going and beautyfull in general. Try to come in contact with them in anyway possible. This way you get to know them, the city and the country better then ever. Make the choise, visit Riga, enjoy Riga and Latvia!

It was a surprise.

It was a surprise. And a pretty surprise- I have completed the Baltics and they are all equally wonderful countries and/or cities to visit. It was easy to get around except when rushing that we had to book Bolt and some russian drivers would not be as nice and would not know how to speak in English. Very minor discomfort.

The occupation museum was good a bit expensive but worth it The sea side resort Jurmala was super and interesting to visit Lettland Ethnografik Open Air Museum is interesting and you learn about earlier living conditions in Lettland Rush hour traffic

The hotel location was the best..

The hotel location was the best.. The room was not so good because it looked to the back. People are nice and understand English and younger people speak good English. The taxi drivers were honest and helpful. The pace of life is quiet, I e, you can walk with relative safety.. I enjoyed the dinner up in the terrace. The organ of the cathedral is unique, it alone is worth the visit.. I had some difficulty in finding a taxi when my feet were sore.. The hotel is very quiet and I enjoyed the bells of the cathedral ringing early this morning.!!!

The location is amazing, just a short walk away from the old town area. The whole hotel is very clean and comfortable. It’s a rather small hotel which makes it super cosy. The parking in front of the house is very convenient. The staff was super nice- the girls in the reception are very friendly and always ready to help. The price is reasonable, especially that there’s breakfast included. It was our second time in Edvards. We will definitely choose this hotel the next time we’re in Riga.

The hotel is well located, at the same time close to/within old town but also within very reasonable distance to the central district, under 10 minutes from the Riga central market, etc. The spa and treatments available seemed nice but I didn't have time to enjoy them. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very nice, with a lot of choice. You could make your own waffles, always a nice touch.

This is my favourite hotel in Riga, and I’ve stayed here several times. Every visit has been a wonderful experience. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Old Town. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and professional, making me feel at home every time.
